A dull thud echoed as two cars collided.
Roy Lee deliberately controlled the impact to avoid fatalities, yet it was enough to disrupt the normal functioning of the other vehicle.
With the collision, Richard Xavier's van instantly developed a dent in the rear, and the vehicle lost control, plummeting into the roadside ditch.
Braking his car beside the van, Roy Lee pushed open the door, quickly dashed to the side, and yanked open the rear door.
"I really apologize... I couldn't stop in time, I'm sorry... I'm sorry... Are any of you hurt?"
Inside the van, Richard Xavier and his men were drenched in cold sweat.
Hearing the rear door being opened, one of the henchmen got startled and hurriedly shielded Dr. Hu.
Richard Xavier, who had hit his head against the window, lifted his face, wiped the blood off his forehead, and turned around raising his right hand towards Roy Lee.
