Bill paused and added, "Although this is a villa community, there are still two hostages in the house. If we refuse, their lives could be in danger."
On the other end of the phone, Lucas Walker pondered for a moment, "Alright, keep him calm, I'll get there as soon as possible."
"Yes, Your Majesty." Bill hung up the phone, handed the cell phone to the assistant, and immediately picked up the amplifier again, "Duke Charli, I've already negotiated with the king. He promised to come and see you. Don't impulsively do something foolish. The two hostages are innocent, so please don't harm them."
"I'll give you three hours. It's ten now; if I don't see him before one, I'll detonate the bomb immediately." Duke Charli replied from inside the villa.
Inside the room, the villa's owners—a young newlywed couple—listened in timid fear, their eyes filled with panic.
This newlywed couple had just returned from their honeymoon, never expecting to face such a calamity upon their return.
