Memoria didn't speak. She just untied her shoelaces, took off her brand-name sneakers, and placed them neatly at the corner of the stairs.

When Rebecca Dean and Chelia Campbell were targeting him like that, Neil Campbell remained silent.

Standing on the stairs with her socks on, Memoria didn't look at Rebecca Dean or Chelia Campbell, but only stared at Neil Campbell.

"These socks were bought with the money I earned from my part-time job. Should I take them off too?"

"If you hadn't brought her back, could you have gotten Memoria's mother's house?" A man's cold question came from downstairs.

Neil Campbell's face turned pale.

Downstairs, Xie Leng gently pushed aside the door opened by the maid, Li, and walked in with Wesley Lindsay.
