"Are you that kind of mom?" Ivana Bennett handed the phone back to Byron Hallock, "Only see the son-in-law, but can't see the daughter?"
"I don't care, as long as there's a son-in-law. Do you think you, a former prime minister, are on the same level as our great king?" Summer Gardner gave her a sideways glance and then turned to the door, yelling, "Logan Bennett... What are you dawdling for, why haven't you come out yet?"
"I'm just adding water to the soup!" Logan Bennett wearing an apron, came running out, and upon seeing his daughter already on the steps, he took a breath and smiled, "Little stinky, your mom doesn't welcome you, but your dad does. Come here, give me a hug!"
Triumphantly, Ivana grinned at her own mom and walked forward, extending her arms to embrace him, "Why do you keep calling me Little stinky!"
Logan Bennett enveloped his daughter in his arms, "Who told you to make a mess out of me when you were little."
