Before he could speak, Elly Campbell smacked him on the head, "Will it kill you to keep your mouth shut?"
Elly Campbell's gaze was icy as she looked at him. Leo Hall didn't retort, instead rolling his eyes defiantly.
After a moment of silence, Leo Hall felt Elly Campbell's hand gently rub the spot on his head where she had slapped him.
He froze for a moment and looked up at her, seeing her serious yet intensely grateful expression, she looked at him earnestly and said:
"This time, I really have to thank you, thank you for bringing William Campbell back to me. Thank you."
Elly Campbell's voice carried a touch of emotion.
Leo Hall remained silent for a long time before giving a slight scoff, averting his gaze and saying:
"Don't think I don't know that you and your husband... including my brother, suspect that I have something to do with William's kidnapping, right?"
Elly Campbell was taken aback by his resentful yet defiant question, but she didn't justify herself.
