Sophia Wilson didn't say anything more, turned around, and left. Her back was straight, like a lonely, proud, and indifferent swan.
When she had left, Emily Williams sat down holding the sleeping Olivia Yorke, and said, "Aunt Sophia looks so cold, but she seems to care about you."
"Mom is cold on the outside but warm on the inside," Amelia Clarke said.
Not long after, Old Lady Wilson called Adam Wilson and Emily Williams to go back.
Amelia Clarke followed Owen Moreland to send several people to the front door. Grace Moreland and Joshua Jenkins didn't seem to know what had happened, and unlike at the beginning, didn't reject Joshua anymore. When saying goodbye, Grace even kindly reminded Joshua to drive carefully, making Madam Moreland smile, feeling that her granddaughter had finally come to her senses.
Once The Wilsons had left, Owen Moreland took Amelia Clarke's hand as they went back inside with everyone else.
