Victoria Sheldon glanced over and then at Amelia Clarke, holding Years By Years in one arm while reaching out with the other to take the chilled grape juice. She curled her lips into a smile and said, "Thank you."
Amelia Clarke reached out to take Years By Years into her arms. "Let me hold him. Aunt, go sit over there."
Soon, Grace Adams, Sophia Wilson, and Emily Yorke came over together.
The banquet started at twelve o'clock.
The little ones had fallen asleep, and three maids were left in the resting room to look after them. Forty-five banquet tables were filled to capacity, and Amelia Clarke and Owen Moreland carried their wine glasses from table to table for toasts.
Because Amelia Clarke was nursing, she substituted with plain water instead of alcohol.
