After dropping Amelia Clarke at Bordine University and watching her walk through the gates, Owen Moreland didn't immediately start his car and leave. He fished his phone out of his pants pocket and dialed Oscar Moreland's number.
"You've heard about Victoria Sheldon's situation, haven't you."
It wasn't a question; it was a statement.
"It wasn't my people who acted against her," Oscar Moreland stated bluntly. "I got a call from them. When they arrived, they happened to witness Victoria Sheldon being dragged into a van."
Oscar Moreland chuckled coldly as he continued, "She's done enough evil deeds to deserve her retribution, hasn't she."
He valued Sophia Wilson more than his own eyes; he wouldn't allow anyone to touch her. For every ounce of harm Victoria Sheldon inflicted on her, she'd have to pay back tenfold.
