From the time Victoria Sheldon got exposed for her schemes to when she confessed to orchestrating the murder of Kingston Sheldon's family, it had been barely over half a month.

The entire matter was like boiling water, bubbling intensely for over ten days.

David Abel was not involved in Victoria Sheldon's crime of hiring a hitman, nor did he help her cover it up. It didn't constitute harboring, at most, he was guilty of knowing and not reporting it. He was reprimanded and then released.

Victoria Sheldon was transferred to a hospital designated by the Public Security Bureau for recovery. The case had already been handed over to the Procuratorate for review and prosecution.

Amelia Clarke heard that Emily Collins had been so upset by Victoria's confession that she coughed up blood. She was now staying at the Ridge Forest Hotel in Paris 6th District.
