Skylar Wilson followed Edmund Wilson into the inpatient building. As he entered the door, he happened to see Edmund Wilson entering the elevator.
The elevator stopped briefly on the second and fifth floors before finally stopping on the sixth floor.
Skylar Wilson looked at the floor directory: the second floor was for orthopedics and surgery, the fifth floor was pediatrics and neonatal, and the sixth floor was cardiothoracic and cardiology.
He first went to the second floor and checked each ward but didn't see anyone familiar, including Edmund Wilson. Then he went to the fifth floor; as the elevator doors opened, they faced the nurse's station directly. Edmund Wilson was holding a piece of paper and seemed to be asking the nurse something.
Skylar Wilson was about to call out to him, but he saw him leave hastily after asking, for the first time, seeing such urgency and worry on his face as he grew up.
