Fraud's face was filled with terror, as if nailed to the ground, unable to move, left only to wait for death, to be refined into a pool of blood. This trapped feeling made him feel despair, almost driving him to collapse.
If he'd known it would come to this, he'd have played the coward, swallowed his pride and kept his distance, and it wouldn't have come to this point.
In that moment, Fraud regretted it thoroughly, filled with self-blame because his impulsive actions had dragged down the two bosses!
"Brother Overturning Water, is there any way to break this deadlock? We can't just wait here to die, can we? I don't want to be refined into blood water. This kind of death is too damn suffocating, I might as well just commit suicide for a quicker end!"
