"Getting antsy? Not much going on right now anyway. Why don't you head out?" Shi Lei said with a smile, seeing Liu Banxia frequently checking the time.
"No can do. The director was already generous enough to give me the afternoon and evening off. It'd be too much if I just bolted now," Liu Banxia shook his head, replying.
"Sigh... watching you fidget is stressing me out," Shi Lei said helplessly.
"Heh heh, it's a once-in-a-lifetime thing, you know? I'm actually a little nervous," Liu Banxia admitted sheepishly.
The people listening nearby all chuckled. Seeing a nervous expression on Liu Banxia's face was truly a rare sight.
Unless it was an emergency case or a patient with an undiagnosed infection, Liu Banxia was usually full of fighting spirit.
"Stop fidgeting. The director's calling for you," Shi Lei said.
Liu Banxia turned his head and, sure enough, Zhou Shuwen was beckoning to him from the office doorway.
"Director, what is it?" Liu Banxia hurried over.
