"How did it go?" Liu Banxia hurriedly asked upon seeing Chen Xuehai and the others come out.
"It was a complete success. Let's move him to the ward," Chen Xuehai said.
"This is good news. The child's mother is still in surgery, though. It's a bit of a headache; we have one patient from neurosurgery and one from cardiology, and we can't place them in the same ward," Liu Banxia said.
"They'll just have to manage for a couple of days; it's not a major issue," Chen Xuehai replied with a smile. "Their family members haven't arrived yet? Even though these were emergency surgeries, we still need to inform the other relatives about the situation. I won't concern myself with that, though. You can handle it."
Liu Banxia nodded. "I've contacted the child's maternal grandparents. The parents are divorced, and the child lives with his mother. The grandparents should be here soon. Fortunately, neither patient is in critical condition."
