In fact, there were no accidents at that time.
It cannot be said that the Lower Realm has no special spaces; much like the space where Zhou Tian started his journey, there are indeed some spaces in the Lower Realm that are unrelated to the Main Plane but are very unique. However, it is clear that such spaces are extremely rare, and unless one is incredibly lucky, it is basically impossible to have any relationship with those spaces.
Although Zhou Tian did allow the Spatial Turbulence to stir up chaos for a while, this did not necessarily mean that he would be involved with those special spaces. In fact, shortly after leaving the Spatial Crevice, Zhou Tian confirmed that his position, if not mistaken, was merely an Ancient Ruins Space.
