Latrice, is a girl who only remembers dying because of a Car accident and that she is in a novel she had read when she was still alive, but was her death really how she remembers it? Was she really in a novel?
Latrice is a pessimistic person when it comes to love from a potential love interest. Her motto in this life is to survive and not die because of her greedy husband's endeavours. She is a brave and intellectual individual both logical and emotional. She knows when to stand her ground and does so without harming people she loves...or so she thought. Her 'Life' and existence have more secrets to it than she can remember... 
Orisis on the other hand... He is a person with a secret that is yet to be revealed... He is the Grand Duke of the Northern Aegis Duchy. He isn't your cold Northerner Duke who ki... He isn't your typical Northern Duke who hides his emotions, instead, he is a very intellectual person, logically and emotionally.  He knows that Latrice is the woman he loves, and that's why he traps her in a five-year marriage contract with outrageous consequences through her father's desperate crisis. 
Orisis is a man who doesn't take a liking to anyone who is not his wife or his important informants. He speaks his mind and NEVER bows to anyone... unless it's his wife. But is his wife the right person for him? Is she who he remembers? Was he wrong? Or were some people trying to distract him so they could take away something he did not know of...
