As Lilly heard that Maddie is missing, she began to hyperventilate and slowly lose her senses. She hits the candle holder and then Maggie caught her.
Maggie: "Lilly, I know this is a lot to take in but we only found out an hour ago. There were no traces, we're still trying to investigate on it."
Lilly looks like she's trying to stand and try to lie down at the same time but she then finally accepts the situation a bit.
Lilly: "Why did you let them take her?"
Maggie looks worried now and careful with her next words to try not make the situation worse.
Maggie: "We don't know if she was taken or just left, she just disappeared. Please Lilly, calm down."
Lilly immediately took a deep breath as her messy hair that's usually on the bottom eventually straightened itself due to the cold air passing through the windows of the halls. The air grew colder as both Lilly and Maggie just stood still in silence. Some dust ended up in her face and when she realized it, she immediately went to Maddie's room. Maggie notices her walking there and she follows her.
Maggie: Wait up!
Then they both walk to her room and they saw Madeline's silhouette surrounded by a glowing energy. It then dissipates but it created a slight burst which causes both Lilly and Maggie to block it with their arms and lifted Lilly's skirt a bit. Madeline appeared where her silhouette was and without a second further Lilly hugged her.
Lilly: Maddie! I'm so glad you're okay!
She hugged her tightly as a few tears fell from her eyes which lands on Maddie's chest because she's too tall for Lilly to reach her shoulder when hugging. Madeline smiled and hugged her back and even carried her up a bit which lifted her off the ground. It surprised Lilly for a bit but she went along with it. Afterwards Madeline whispers to Lilly's ear.
Maddie: Why aren't you wearing panties?
Lilly flusters a bit as Maddie holds back her smug but is doing a terrible job at it. Her mouth was twitching as it was extremely obvious while Lilly proceeds to get even more red.
Lilly: Hmph! Pervert!
She pouted while looking away from her which caused Maddie herself to look away as well and then tried to make her face emotionless. She then look backed at Lilly after exercising her face several times to stop herself from smiling or smirking.
Maddie: Stop doing that, and before you say anything, sorry for worrying you.
She still sounded monotonic and almost emotionless while she was talking per usual but she was genuine about it. Lilly looked back at her as her redness went away.
Lilly: Don't apologize for something you can't control. I do however worry for your safety now. I'm scared if it happened again you might be lost forever and-...
She stopped immediately and went silent for a bit. Maddie was curious but thought it was a sensitive topic so she didn't ask Lilly about it. Instead she stopped carrying her completely.
Lilly: *Mumbling* lose someone important again without me knowing.
An awkward silence brewed in so Maddie got a bit uncomfortable with it. She was overthinking this situation a bit and had weird face expressions to show how uncomfortable she was.
Maddie: Hey uhh... Since you're here, do you want to join me for dinner?
As soon as Lilly's attention went to her and smiled upon hearing it, Maddie felt more comfortable and had a silent sigh of relief for a brief moment. She was sort of excited for this dinner as they never really had a proper one.
The two went to the dining room as Maddie was leading the way of course. She already had food prepared and she always makes her cook prepare multiple food when she wants to decide what to eat. It might seem picky st first but she purposely does this because sometimes they have unexpected guests at the worst timing. If there's none, she either eats it either way or have someone else eat it since the thought of wasting my food doesn't sit well with her. Lilly sat in the other end of the table which was longer than she thought while Maddie sat in the other end opposite to Lilly. It was quite a long distance but Lilly can still hear Maddie due to her enhanced senses as a werewolf and make Maddie hear her using sound magic. It's a basic spell that isn't even considered a spell where werewolves make the sound travel to another person without it deteriorating over time it travels or at least prevents it from doing so. It does it by travelling through a surface like a conductor or gliding through air properly.
As the chefs brought down the tray of dishes, a sweet aroma spread through the entire room. It got stronger as they removed the lid covering the foods. There were several options among these. There was a Jade Mutton Chop with broth, a cricket egg fried rice dish, boneless fish with tomato and onions, fried pork with potato and egg soul, and lastly a juicy steak with egg fried rice. Lilly was scared for a moment as she heard Dragons used to eat wolves but now she knew she was worried for nothing. Lilly picked the Boneless Fish while Maddie picked the juicy steak with egg fried rice. Most of these were Dragon cuisines and only a few were appetizing for Lilly.
Lilly was a bit shy at this point but she had to initiate a conversation so it wouldn't be awkward.
Lilly: So Maddie... I- well since my mom taught me about magic and stuff, I have a question
Madeline's curiosity went up
Maddie: Sure, what's up girl?
Lilly smiles as she responds with no negative expression
Lilly: What's your magical ability?
Madeline was intrigued by her question
Maddie: Mine is called Convection, I can basically transfer heat to any objects. I can make it so they reach their boiling point.
Lilly: That can be like an insta-kill ability!
Maddie: Well yours is too if you get close enough, in that case it would be wise to train in close combat don't you think?
Lilly flusters a bit as her thoughts have wavered as she said that.
Lilly: Well maybe you teaching me close combat won't be so bad... Hehe.
Madeline caught the joke almost immediately and flustered as she was taken back by it. She just continued eating trying to ignore what was said. Lilly doesn't realize the damage she has done, though it wasn't really a big deal, it broke Maddie's formal approach. Perhaps it was for the best because she failed to realize that Lilly isn't the type of person to indulge to such things.
The dinner finished, though Maddie felt a bit awkward, Lilly doesn't seem to mind so she just brushed everything off and approached her again.
Maddie: Hey, so uhhh are you going to stay here?
Lilly: Did I fail to mention it? Well I want to sleep with you if that's okay.
Maddie being taken back a bit and flustering was a bit shy yet also excited. She's new to this kind of thing so she doesn't know how to act. Her own mind would betray her and let her intrusive thoughts win.
Maddie: Sure, then maybe something exciting m-might happen
She chuckled nervously now regretting that she said that. To her surprised, Lilly laughed and smiled. In her thoughts, if this is how Lilly responded then maybe she should just speak her mind more towards her. Because of this, she came forward.
Maddie: I will be honest... I actually didn't know how to act earlier but you've made me realized that I just need to be myself. So I apologize for uhhh... Acting unusual.
Lilly was a bit surprised but also understood so she closed her eyes for a bit while smiling and responded.
Lilly: I understand, from now on, I want to experience the real you. The woman who is destined to be with me forever.
Both of them giggled and ended up hugging each other. Afterwards, as Maddie got someone to clean their table, the both of them made their way to Maddie's room. Maddie changed in her room while Lilly went inside the bathroom inside the room. Lilly looked at the mirror but she felt a bit weird. She saw her own self but younger and was reminded again how much time she had lost. Knowing all of this yet keeping it to herself. Coping about it by trying to make up for the amount of time that she had lost which would obviously do nothing. She continues to cling to this false gesture of hope, however, all she could think of is the past that she had lost. Before she could let her emotions get to her about it, she suddenly saw a figure of a woman behind her and then looked behind as she was shocked a bit. Nothing was there and her breathing was faster. She thinks she's now losing her mind so she gets it together and washed her face. She did so as a way to show to herself that she will move on by washing away the regrets that she has.
After spending so long in the bathroom she returned to the bedroom.
Maddie: I was beginning to worry that you liked the bathroom more than me. Or perhaps you were doing something else~
Lilly was a bit annoyed by that thought but knew that Maddie was joking.
Lilly: Oh please, do not project yourself into me.
Maddie laughed as Lilly lied down with her on the bed. She then pulled Lilly's head towards her shoulder.
Maddie: Do you want to watch a movie? I have films that only dragons can watch and of course, human entertainment.
Lilly: Let me watch your favorites then
As they watched a few dragon movies and an old classic of Back to The Future, Lilly seemed to have forgotten or just moved on from all the regrets that she was burying inside. She looked at Maddie thinking she was the solution towards it and at the same time Maddie thinks that Lilly is someone she shouldn't lose. The feeling she's feeling right now was the same feeling she felt when she had her mother with her. Lilly on the other hand felt like she was relieved of the problems she was carrying because of Maddie. Both of them slowly drift off, cuddling each other as the movie kept playing.
It was morning and both of them woke up in an awkward position. Half of Maddie's body was on top of Lilly while Lilly had her backside in front. Maddie ended up touching her ass and was surprised how big it was. Lilly felt it and looked at Maddie.
Lilly: Can you not? It's way too early for this
She said it feeling a bit grumpy in the morning
Maddie didn't even realize she was no longer dreaming. She doesn't know if she should be more surprised on how big her ass actually is or the fact that she was no longer dreaming and is actually touching Lilly. She would scream but she knows the guards would hear and come up there so instead she stood up immediately and apologized to Lilly repeatedly.
Lilly: I would've preferred it if you committed, now I just feel grumpy and dissatisfied.
Maddie felt bad after her words. She feels like she screwed up big time but Lilly notices it.
Lilly: Come on, if you want to make it up to me, you gotta give me a morning kiss.
Maddie was intrigued and didn't hesitate to kiss her which ended up to be a passionate kiss with one another. They kissed until Lilly ended up drooling while doing so.
Lilly: Oh dear, I'm sorry about that
Maddie: Oh I don't mind at all~
Lilly eventually returns to the Darkmoon Kingdom, after a few more fun time with Madeline. Lilly gets a bit of rest as she searches for some of her old stuff. She picks up a toy that was made by Ronnie. A leap of nostalgia emerges to her as a smile escapes her face. She continued looking at her old things and saw something that immediately caught her attention. It was a half of a shuriken, it was a gift that Bobby claimed to not have completed at her fifth birthday. She doesn't remember much besides that. It didn't cross her mind that why would an incomplete shuriken be exactly half of it and kind of just believed it.
A day has passed again and this time her mother has to train her again. Beforehand she had to he taught about more basic stuff.
Valeria: Forget about some stuff I told you the other day, all you need to know for now are these 3. There are 3 types of applications for magic. First one is manifestation which are used for offense and defense. Second one is illusion, as the name says, it creates an illusion. Since we wolves have a natural affinity to sound, we have a lot of utilities with that, but I'll explain in a bit. Third one, is enhancement. There are two applications of this. One is for enchanting, or casting a protection spell on artifacts or weapons, second one is your own body. This is what we will do today.
Lilly looked a bit confused but did understand what her mother said
Lilly: I got it so far, but why are we doing enhancement first?
Valeria: You see it requires learning proper combat first bedore you apply it, you little missy absolutely needs it.
Lilly looked shocked and disappointed
Lilly: More combat? That's all I've been doing as a kid.
Valeria sighed and looked at her daughter intently
Valeria: You, Ronnie and Bobby were supposed to master it during that time. However, only you didn't. You were also unable to beat either of them.
Lilly reminices of the past once more but she then thought about something else instead.
Lilly: That reminds me, why isn't dad the one teaching me?
Valeria pinched the bridge of her nose and maintains her tone
Valeria: Your father is a very busy person Lilly, you have to und-
She was cut offed by Lilly
Lilly: And you aren't?
It was a valid point and Valeria kinda got mad at that internally but she maintains her cool.
Valeria: Let's focus on the matter at hand shall we princess?
Valeria goes to a fighting stance and Lilly does as well but her form looks weak compared her mother's. So after one exchange of blows, to no one's surprise Valeria wins.
Valeria: Try imagining your fights back then young lady, surely you must've learned something.
Lilly got hit so hard that her mother didn't need to tell her that to remember. Lilly's head was spinning and suddenly remembered about the time it happened too. She was sparring with Bobby and Ronnie at the time. She remembered a good strategy from both of them but what was it? She was having a hard time remembering it as the scene was playing out in her head.
