Qin Yin finally looked at Jiang Mei. She hadn't removed her makeup or changed her clothes yet. Even though her makeup was quite heavy, Qin Yin could still see that her face was pale as paper, and sweat was even seeping from her temples.
Qin Yin picked up a bottle of water from the side and handed it to her.
Jiang Mei glanced at it, then accepted it.
She clutched her stomach, breathing heavily, twisted the cap open and took a sip, then frowned even more.
"What's wrong?" Qin Yin asked.
"None of your business," Jiang Mei replied coldly, placing the water aside and no longer drinking.
"Feeling uncomfortable? Then I'll have someone take you back." Qin Yin's voice was indifferent, neither caring nor anything else, as if she was speaking to an ordinary stranger.
"I don't need you pretending to care," Jiang Mei raised her eyes and glared at Qin Yin.
