Qin Yin stared at the scene in shock, completely at a loss for what to do—perhaps, she didn't even know what she had done.
In any case, she was dazed, and thoroughly so.
When she woke up again, she found herself lying in a hospital, with Nan Sichen sitting next to her, holding her hand. He did nothing, just stared blankly at her.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she fell into his eyes which were like black holes, as if they were drawing her in.
Seeing her awake, his voice was calm yet carried a hint of urgency as he asked, "Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere else?"
"What?" Qin Yin, still in a daze, tried to sit up from the bed, but as soon as she pressed her hand on the bed, she felt a sharp pain in her arm.
She let out a soft hiss.
Nan Sichen pressed her down, "Lie still, tell me if you need anything."
She actually needed to go to the toilet, but she couldn't possibly tell him that she needed to pee, could she?
