One of my shadow clones attacked the middle aged ninja from behind as the second shadow clone tried to strike him from the front only for him to dodge to the side. But as soon as he dodged them I fired a lightning spear jutsu at him. As this jutsu is quite fast, it reached him in no time but as an experienced ninja this jutsu of course wouldn't be his end as he barely was able to dodge it as well but not without a scratch at his shoulder. After that again my shadow clones attacked him while I prepared another jutsu. This cycle continued for a while until both he and I were tired.
Even though he is an experienced ninja, after his attacks got limited to only using kunaies and only using jutsus to defend, he became cornered. His body had numerous cuts all over his body as he panted like crazy. I was also tired after all that but I had almost no injuries on me and as for my shadow clones...they had just exploded after getting too tired so now it was just between us, one on one.
I looked him in the eyes as he looked back. Both of us tightened the grip on our kunaies as we slowly started walking towards each other. As he walked, his various wounds would spray various amounts of blood on the ground. We speeded up after a few steps and after just a few seconds our kunai clashed.
His first attack came from the left as he swiped his kunai towards me and I dodged it by stepping back only for a second until the kunai passed after which I slashed at him from above my head to which he blocked with a timely kunai. We fought each other back and forth like this as we tried to injure each other.
After a few minutes of that and my opponent, the middle aged ninja started to become sluggish because of the wounds on his body as well as the fatigue that accumulated. I didn't miss this moment as I stabbed my kunai into his hand that was holding a kunai. He dropped his kunai from his hand after feeling the new pain coursing through his arm and I swiped at the kunai and caught it as I then aimed at his chest with his own kunai and stabbed him. Again, I avoided the heart and only aimed to severally injure him. After he was stabbed he coughed a bit and then fell down, unconscious.
I also fell down as I layed on my back while panting. This fight really drained me. I didn't have any wounds on my body but I was so tired that I felt like dying. In the last one on one fight just now, my mind was not working, I was moving without any thoughts but with just my instincts which was a first for me.
Looking back, I now understood why I didn't have any wounds on my body at all. I really didn't fight him properly as I only fought him with my shadow clones for almost the entire fight. And other then that, only kunaies could damage me anyways, which means that I was mostly safe as long as I avoided kunaies.
Thinking like that, I smiled a little. This was quite a nice cheat. I looked at the middle aged man to see him laying a bit distance away from me motionless. I slowly stood up as I felt my body aching from many places and wondered why that was since I only fough for a couple of minutes and my body shouldn't be strained. I looked at the man on the floor one last time after which I walked away.
...
I arrived at the house that we saw before to find Seiten also walking inside of it. I quickened my pace and also entered through the door as I saw Seiten, Mio and sensei there. Sensei was unconscious as well as bound by ropes while Mio was cutting these ropes. My walking alerted the two awake ninjas inside.
"Oh Karan! Glad to see you in good shape! I was just about to head out to lock for you." Seiten shouted as Mio tried to make him keep his voice down.
"Yeah, good to see you safe too, son." I said as Mio chuckled a little while Seiten frowned.
After that we freed sensei and made Seiten carry sensei as we left the place. A few hours after that sensei woke up. We told him everything that happened and he was disappointed on himself about getting kidnapped but after a few minutes he got his sh*t back together and we again continued our journey.
In the meantime, sensei told us about how he got kidnapped or how he was defeated. Sensei said that his opponent, that middle aged ninja, had his kunaies laced with a poison that would make the other person faint on the spot. Sensei got only a minor cut on his shoulder but because of the poison, he fainted.
After knowing this, I didn't know what to think. The middle aged ninja was sensei's opponent and whom I fought just now. If he used poison in sensei's fights, he must have used poison in my fight against him as well which means that I was really lucky to not get any wounds from his blade or else I would have immediately lost.
Other then that sensei also said that this middle aged man was on the brink of becoming a jounin. He might be promoted to a special jounin after this mission which is a rank lowest in the jounin rank but nonetheless I was happy to be able to defeat an elite chunnin on the brink of becoming a jounin.
After that we soon reached our destination. We were not that far to begin with so it was not surprising that we reached there quickly. After we said to the soldiers there that we brought a letter from the noble opposed to theirs they all began to surround us and a few even wanted to finish us off. Sensei remained calm in this situation as he just stood there without backing away and told them that we were only there to deliver a letter and nothing else.
After hearing that, some soldiers moved to tell their lord about it while we still stood amoung the crowd of soldiers as they pointed their spears at us. Fortunately their lord responded fast and told the soldier to calm down. Then he invited only one of us inside as he said that three ninjas would be too great of a risk to be with so Sensei went inside some kind of room with him which was packed with a lot of soldiers leaving us behind.
After a few minutes Sensei came back out as he told us to follow him. we all walked out of that place after which Sensei said that the mission was a success to which we all cheered and then headed back towards Konoha.

Inside the Hokage office-
"Well done! The mission was a total success! You all did great!"
We had just reported the mission to lady Tsunade and she was looking through the mission details when suddenly-
"Lady Tsunade, the mission was not a C Rank mission, was it?" Sensei spoke in a chilling voice.
