Marcus, also known as Utopian, was bursting with excitement.
Today was a special day. After weeks of waiting, the very first episode of Demon Slayer was finally going to air — and not just anywhere. He had set up a massive screen inside the League's headquarters for the occasion.
He sent a message to all his friends:
> "Emergency meeting! Special premiere of Demon Slayer — a 1 hour and 23 minute episode. Don't miss it!"
A few moments later, the main hall began to fill up:
Bruce Wayne arrived first, perfectly dressed, arms crossed, skeptical.
> (Bruce's thoughts): "An anime? This better be worth my time."
Clark Kent followed, smiling warmly, his glasses slightly fogged. He carried snacks and soda.
> "Lois said this show is a global hit. I'm curious to see why."
Hawkgirl landed on the backrest of a chair, folding her wings.
> "If there's fighting, I'm in. If not, I'm out."
J'onn J'onzz observed the giant screen with quiet curiosity, eager to understand why humans were so passionate about these animated stories.
John Stewart, the Green Lantern, conjured glowing green seats for everyone.
> "There. Now no one can leave before the end."
Diana, elegant as always, sat gracefully, her expression calm but intrigued.
> "Show us this masterpiece you've been talking about, Marcus."
Finally, Flash sped in, holding a giant bowl of popcorn.
> "Did I miss the opening?! No? Good! Hit play!"
The lights dimmed. The Demon Slayer logo appeared on the screen.

During the Episode
From the very first notes of music, Clark smiled sincerely.
> "The animation… it's beautiful."
Bruce tried to maintain his stoic expression, but his eyes stayed glued to the screen.
> (Bruce's thoughts): "The storyboarding… impressive strategy in its pacing."
When Tanjiro ran through the snow crying for his family, Diana lowered her gaze slightly, visibly moved.
> "He carries the weight of the world on his shoulders… a true warrior."
Hawkgirl clenched her fists.
> "If I were there, that demon wouldn't have lasted five seconds."
John Stewart nodded approvingly.
> "That kid's got more discipline than some of my recruits."
During Tanjiro's intense training scene, Flash leaned forward, eyes wide.
> "Whoa! This guy's fast — even I can barely keep up!"
J'onn J'onzz, completely absorbed, spoke softly:
> "Fascinating. The emotion is so vivid that I can feel it through the animation."
Even Bruce, ever the stoic, allowed a faint smile when Tanjiro finally split the stone.
> (Bruce's thoughts): "He understands pain… and perseverance."

After the Episode
As the ending theme played, the room fell into a deep, respectful silence.
Then Flash broke it:
> "Okay, I'm officially hooked. The guy with the boar head? He's my favorite!"
Clark chuckled.
> "A touching story about family and determination."
Diana placed a hand on Marcus's shoulder.
> "You were right, Utopian. This isn't just entertainment. It's a battle for honor and light."
Even Bruce, arms crossed, finally admitted:
> "Not bad… for an anime."
Marcus grinned.
> "So… we watching episode two together?"
Everyone nodded.
The League of Heroes had just found a new tradition.
