Aizen tried not to interfere with any of the characters until now, for the sole reason of keeping the storyline as it was. But there was something he needed to do that would accelerate his plans for making the Hogyoku. The benefit of completing the Hogyoku was far greater than merely adhering to the storyline.
Aizen had this crazy but doable plan of 'acquiring' the son of Toji Fushiguro, that is, Megumi Fushiguro, as one of the beings who could threaten him was Mahoraga, and he might as well keep him closer to him than anyone else. This was the perfect opportunity to do so.
Aizen posted an offer to Toji Zenin through the black market, an offer he would most likely not resist. A sum of 100 million dollars for his son, along with the condition of not returning him to the Zenin clan.
Along came a message from Toji Zenin to meet him just before his mission with Gojo. Even though this risked changing the timeline completely, he was sure this risk would be well rewarded.
A few hours later, Aizen walked into an old cafeteria-styled bar where he saw Toji, the man with unparalleled physical strength. Aizen knew that his first meeting with one of the few characters who defied even fate should not be anything less than grand. As Aizen took his first step inside this shop, a huge amount of cursed energy, more than Toji had ever seen, began emanating from nowhere. Usually, when a person releases cursed energy, it looks like it originated from them. But this time, it was as if something huge was releasing its cursed energy, and he couldn't even see the point of origin.
Seeing Toji alarmed, Aizen nodded inwardly, happy to have him on guard. Just moments later, the whole shop began to crush and decay, the clothes, the wood, the brick—everything seemed to be pressurized and looked like it was decomposing itself.
Although Toji Zenin was alarmed, he was not someone who would back down without a fight. He grinned and asked, "Is this a trap? If so, who?"
Hearing it, Aizen released a chuckle as all the pressure vanished instantly, showing his near-perfect control over the cursed energy, and said, "It is as I said, I wanted the deal."
To this, Toji replied, "And why do you think I will accept that deal?"
Amused internally by Toji's response, Aizen replied, "Why do you think you will not?"
Seeing this, Toji grew silent and thought for a while said, "Fine, but I specify the binding vow"
To which Aizen said, "Yes, I agree to that."
Even though Aizen said yes, he would keep some backup plans in case it would negate or backlash on him. He modified the contract of the binding vow to the following:
"I, Aizen Sosuke, agree to be in a binding vow with Toji Zenin that I keep Megumi Fushiguro and not harm him directly nor indirectly until I live, in exchange for 100 million dollars. Also, I will not resell him for the rest of his life. On the occasion of either person breaking the pact, they will hereby be subjected to immediate death."
After this, my cursed energy somehow looked like it was creating a chain that bound my heart, and I could faintly sense the same on Toji's body.
With this, I could say I lost a bit of money, but nothing compared to what I gained. Aizen clicked a few buttons on his phone immediately, which sent a prompt to Toji's device, notifying him that the specified amount had been transferred.
With this, Toji said, "I left the kid in this place, find him yourself now that I have some other things to do," and with that, Toji gave one last look towards my eyes and left silently.
A few minutes passed, after which I went to the given location, where I could see a kid, almost six years old, standing in front of a TV. Seeing this, I approached him, to which he warily stepped back as I continued,
"My name is Aizen Sosuke..."
