Bright Star City, Bright Star Island, Flowing Stars Archipelago, Earth
Omniscient P.O.V.
The night went peacefully, with the four Mikhailovs sleeping exceptionally well.
Although sleeping had long lost its vital 'attribute' for cultivators like them, it still had some beneficial effects.
Indeed, whether it was to heal faster, to 'recharge' their Mental Power, or simply relax their mind after a particularly stressful event, sleeping did possess some mystical effects on the body and mind, a sort of automatic, and extremely efficient healing system whose origin was unknown.
Funny how a high-level cultivator could destroy a continent with a Spell, or carve a piece of Void to create a secret realm with little effort, but the origin of a mechanism as basic as sleeping still eluded their comprehension, as if the heavens were mocking cultivators' arrogance, making it clear that the 'great' power they possessed did not mean much in front of the Heavenly Rules.
A mountain behind a mountain, a Realm above a World.
Mysteries were truly endless in the Cultivation World, impossible to unravel entirely for any one being.
However, wasn't that what made the exploration itself interesting?
As the sunlight entered the room, its flitting rays piercing through the bamboo blinds, Demian's eyelids slowly fluttered open.
As he regained consciousness, the young man felt his mind surprisingly refreshed, as if every thought of his had been cleansed completely, leaving no trace of his previous worries or fears.
Even his body felt warm and relaxed, giving him the illusion of having been through a deep and thorough massage.
Enjoying the feeling, a contented smile subconsciously appeared on his face, as his gaze moved between the three beauties sleeping around, and on, him, before his eyes fell on Liya.
The latter, still lost in a deep slumber, was lying on her belly, with her large, but surprisingly soft, breasts squeezed against his torso.
With both visual and tactile—though through two layers of silk material, her nightgown and bra—, Demian clicked his tongue discreetly while exclaiming inwardly.
'I always wondered from whom Bryn got her Giant Bloodline, but seeing Liya now, I think I know who the 'culprit' is...'
Seeing their size, he was truly glad to be a man, avoiding the inconveniences of having two mounds of soft flesh hanging on his chest while still being able to enjoy the benefits.
Feeling his lower member growing progressively stiffer, his mind moved slightly to control the blood flow in his body, avoiding any potential embarrassing situation.
Well, rather than embarrassing, the word frustrating may have been more accurate, as the feeling of shyness had long disappeared from his vocabulary.
When it came to himself, at least.
However, a true man had to keep his promises, and he promised he would wait before they crossed that step.
Thus, it was best if he avoided making it harder for himself.
While trying to distract his mind from the enjoyable sensation, his gaze fell on the string of saliva hanging from the corner of the redhead's lips.
Finding it adorable, the corner of his lips rose while he thought.
'Those two are really mother and daughter. Both of them are sleep droolers. But, then again, they do look incredibly cute doing it.'
Indeed, as he turned his eyes toward Seraphine's sleeping figure, he noticed a bit of drool on the corner of her mouth.
As for the rest of her saliva?
Well, just like her mother, it ended up on his body, his arms for the dark elf, and his chest for the middle-aged redhead.
'What can you do, uh?'
He thought playfully, though not really caring about the wet sensation on his body.
After all, unlike Mortals, the body fluids of cultivators were not smelly or even disgusting, unless they came from cleansing impurities or if they practiced some sort of unorthodox technique.
Instead, whether it was saliva, sweat, or love liquid, all of them possessed a fragrant odor, akin to an immortal smell.
Interestingly, Demon Beasts and demon cultivators smelled differently, something like corruption, blood, and death, making it easy to identify them unless they used special techniques or items to hide their scent and Aura.
Actually, even among cultivators, there were differences, with Demian's smell being the best among everyone the group of four had met so far.
Blame his Perks and Chaos Soul Ring, which were constantly purifying his body, eliminating every impurity that could hinder his cultivation path and increasing his cultivation at a rate impossible to match for any other 'normal' geniuses.
With a thought, Demian checked the time before thinking playfully.
'It's only 5:30 in the morning. Teacher told me we'd leave at 10 o'clock, so we still have a few hours until then. No need to wake up the sleeping beauties, then.'
While doing his best to stay immobile to avoid startling the three awake, he contemplated.
'After today, we'll finally be able to move further. Everything will open up. I wonder... Will my Perks evolve after this breakthrough? What about after bonding with Liya and Bryn? My cultivation speed is bound to slow down as I grow stronger, but how slow will it be? Then there's the Extinguishing Hall... We'll have to face many dangerous situations, won't we?'
So many questions traversed his mind as feelings of anticipation, bringing with them some slight concerns and a hint of curiosity.
Only after going through everything in his head did he let out a sigh and conclude.
'The future will certainly not be boring.'
Hours went by as the young man was absentmindedly enjoying the three women's body warmth and soft skin.
When the room started growing warmer with the rising sun, Seraphine's figure slowly stirred awake, followed a few minutes later by Brynhild, though none of them spoke, instead enjoying the moment in a peaceful silence.
It was only a full hour later that Adeliya's eyelids finally fluttered open, her breathing accelerating slightly when she recalled her current situation.
Seeing that all three women had awakened, Demian, a warm smile on his face, asked softly with a hint of playfulness in his tone.
"Slept well, my three lovely wives?"
Three similar grins appeared on their faces, with each woman commenting with only a few words.
"Mmhh, I did."
"So well, babe."
"I did, darling. Did you?"
Nodding his head slightly, he replied with a teasing remark.
"How could I not when I've got three barely clothed Immortal-grade beauties sleeping all over me?"
The three giggled before Liya rubbed her cheek against his naked torso and remarked.
"You're not too shabby yourself, darling."
Bryn added.
"Great mattress material."
Sera finished.
"Agreed. Easily five stars.
This time, it was his turn to chuckle, his chest vibrating slightly, which caused Liya's own body to do the same, stirring some peculiar feeling in her body.
Shaking his head slightly, Demiaan retorted.
"Alright, I see you three are already teaming up against me. Bullying your kind and loving husband just because we're not officially married yet..."
Hearing his words, the three women burst into melodious giggles, turning the atmosphere even more harmonious.
Then, the four kept bantering light-heartedly with each other, Bryn's and Liya's shyness all but forgotten under Demian's skillful and genuinely affectionate attitude.
It went on for some time before Demian suddenly changed the subject, turning toward Seraphine with a serious expression as he said.
"By the way, Love. I wanted to tell you yesterday, but completely forgot..."
With an embarrassed expression, he added.
"Well, I had such a good time, it completely slipped my mind."
Shaking his head, he continued.
"Anyway. What I wanted to tell you is that I want you to stay here while I go through my Tribulation."
Immediately, a frown appeared on the elven woman's face, who was about to protest but was interrupted by the young man's explanation.
"I know what you want to say, but I'm not doing it to annoy you. It's actually because of my... 'Special powers'. Remember last time when your bloodline awakened? It triggered an uncontrollable change in both of us. And that was when our cultivation was much weaker..."
Hearing his explanation, the frown on her face melted away, replaced by a resigned expression as she finished his sentence.
"So you're thinking your next breakthrough might trigger an evolution of your... 'Powers', and it might involve me since we're 'deeply' connected, correct?"
Nodding his head, Demian clarified.
"To be honest, my gut feeling tells me that it's pretty much a sure thing. It wouldn't matter if I made a big commotion since I'm already on everyone's radar. But you three are in the shadows. Sort of. Well, Bryn, you aren't exactly hidden, but the enemy thinks you're 'only' a Peak Heaven-Grade genius, and doesn't know your talent might get upgraded later."
His expression turned thoughtful as he continued.
"With the three of you as our group of four's hidden trump cards, the enemy might slip up and make mistakes that may save us in the future."
