Chapter 7 - Jealous Shawn

Three months passed, and Shawn was enjoying his love life. A black Lamborghini purred to a stop at the school gate, drawing every eye to its luxurious form. Mouths hung open as a lady stepped out.

"Wow, Shawn takes care of his ghost," Skyline, the purple-haired guy, said to Adrian, who had auburn hair.

"Wow, she's so tempting," Adrian drooled, seeing Alice in a wine-colored, tight gown that reached her thighs, exposing her perfect curves with a V-neck. Her hair was elegantly styled in a half-bunny tail, the rest falling to her exposed back. She wore light makeup, which brought her natural beauty to the surface. Shawn walked hand in hand with her, and they were the topic of every discussion. Nyla, on the other side, was frustrated beyond limit. "How did that ugly thing get a hold of my Shawn?" she yelled, tugging her hair.

"Next week, we'll be graduating. What plans do you have, huh?" Alice asked Shawn.

"Well, my plans are to spend the entire day with you, even after our graduation," he said, pulling her waist closer.

"Sounds awful," she joked.

"Yeah, I know, right? At least you'll help bore me more," he replied with a mischievous smirk.

"Hmm, sounds cool to me," she winked.

"Hey, Miss Ghost!" Adrian jested, reaching their seat in the garden. The school garden was a large space with different kinds of trees and beautiful surroundings.

"Don't you dare repeat what you called her again," Shawn warned with a serious tone.

"Chill, I'm sorry. I thought since you gave her the name, it'd be fine if I called her that," Adrian defended. Shawn did not speak further, but I could feel the warning in his gaze towards Adrian.

"Hey Alice, so you're here with God only knows who, and I've been searching all over for you!" a handsome guy of about 22, with red hair, fine facial features, and a masculine yet charming face, said. But he was no match for Shawn. Alice cocked her head to face the person, and her eyes widened in surprise.

"Jim!" she exclaimed as he hugged her. She didn't even notice the darkness that clouded Shawn's face. He shot the damn guy called Jim a gaze like daggers. Even Adrian was scared by Shawn's sudden change of aura.

"Oh, Jim, I've missed you to hell, you know!" she said with a grin. Shawn was clenching his fists to stop himself from grabbing the f*cking Jim and beating him until he was satisfied. This was the jealous Shawn. Before he could calm down, Alice planted a kiss on Jim's forehead.

"Alice!" Adrian whispered as Shawn grabbed his collar. Adrian was now suffering for Alice's mistake.

"Hey, chill!" Jim said, holding Shawn's wrist that was tightly clutching Adrian's collar, almost choking him.

"Shawn," Alice softly called, placing her palm on his shoulder. His fierce gaze softened as he looked at her. She led him away so no one would overhear them.

"What's wrong?" she asked, nibbling on his ear. "Are you angry at Adrian?" she continued, as he was quiet. He shook his head in denial. "Then what?" she pressed. His gaze flew to the guy he now seemed to hate.

"Oh, you actually scared me, you know. I thought you were angry at your cousin," she said with a grin. "Look at me," she said, guiding his head to turn to her direction. "Jim is my cousin from my mother's side," she explained.

"I love you and only you, Shawn, so stop thinking too much. Jim and I are just cousins, okay?" she said before engaging in a short kiss.

"Thanks," he sighed before he pulled her into a hug. "I'm easy to get jealous, especially when it comes to my possessions. When I own something, no one—and I mean no one—is allowed to touch it without my approval," he said like a child giving excuses for being naughty. His behavior made Alice grin.
