The monsters were gathered above the harbor, the Flying Eyes hovering overhead, waiting for the Wild Cat.
The Wild Cat circled them, meowing. The Flying Eyes landed before her.
"Is everyone here?" the Wild Cat asked.
"Most of them," the Flying Eyes replied. "Perhaps some monsters have disappeared, and new ones have appeared."
"Give me proof of what you're saying," the Wild Cat demanded.
"We're missing the Wild Dwarf, and a new monster has appeared — the Mechanical Grandad."
"Who owns this monster?" the Wild Cat inquired.
"It's the Wild Sola," the Flying Eyes answered.
"Summon her," the Wild Cat ordered.
The Flying Eyes shone their beams upon the Wild Sola, who walked along the light toward the cat.
"Hello, my cat," the Wild Sola said. "I've missed you so much."
The cat replied, "Hello. Are you a human monster or a robot?"
"My dear cat," said the Wild Sola, "I abandoned my humanity long ago. My savagery grew, and I became a monster. Then, as it deepened, I became a robotic one."
