There in the castle, the horses, the frog, and the boys sat atop the tall tree beside it. The boys longed for the warmth of their mother and father, and the tree became their cradle, so they fell asleep. Meanwhile, the horses and the frog's eyes, fixed on the castle, hinted that a monster or monsters would soon appear. All the monsters who had been on vacation had turned into dwarves. The dragon's eyes appeared at the top of the mountain, as if the monsters were weakened and frightened, sensing that the dragon would awaken. The castle keys were lost. In this battle, the dwarves' mission would be to defeat the cat and the flying eyes. The flying horses looked up at the mountain and saw faint eyes painted with fire at its summit. They said to the frog, "Look behind us at the top of the mountain. There are faint eyes ablaze with fire. Are there monsters dwelling there?" The frog replied, "Those are the dragon's eyes. The great battle is about to begin. Is this the end of the cat?"
