Raven grinned as he kicked his feet up on the table as his opponent grumbled as they threw down their cards on the table.
"Seventeen/zero me my dear apprentice, you should probably give up." Raven chuckled as he shuffled the deck up again.
"You have to be cheating!" Rose grumbled, she had lost seventeen matches of poker straight.
"I'm not cheating." Raven replied knowing damn well he was cheating, nothing too crazy, just memorizing every card as he shuffles them. Never said he had to play fair after all.
At the end of their time playing, he won fifty three to one, that one lose was because he had been distracted by a telepathic call from Hades during his memorizing of the cards.
"You cheating bastard!" Rose yelled as she leapt over the table to try and choke him out, and Raven cackled as she kept trying to choke him into unconscious.
"Harder mommy." Raven grinned as Rose froze, her whole face turning beyond red.
"Die you insufferable idiot!" She yelled as the room was ignited in purple flames.
Anyone who walked by the room felt major heat and heard the familiar cackling of Raven Inanis, plus the screams of Rose Potter. They swiftly moved on.
•~~~~~•
Raven laughed as he watched the burns disappear on his arm. This had been a game he had been doing for a while to train Rose, her purple flames, her sacred gear, was linked to her emotions, so he ignited her anger.
Normal meditation wouldn't do jack shit, and the whole suppress your emotions was also bullshit, At least in regards to her sacred gear. They did run properly with emotions to amplify their power.
So his goal was to enable her to get angry without summoning her flames. At least the purple ones, normal people would be incinerated by them quickly. His inate supernatural resilience and magic kept him mostly safe, but they could still melt his hand off as what happened before.
He is curious to what would happen if she was introduced to even more supernatural fires. Would they combine into a single flame?
"Scary~" Raven giggled as he imagined the power of such a flame. He paused as he felt something before shadows engulfed the area he was standing in before dragging him down.
"Oops, forgot he asked me to come to the underworld." Raven said in realization.
•~~~~~•
The moment he arrived in the underworld, Raven felt someone embrace him and tensed up, but realized it was Hades hugging him.
"Oh." Raven said softly as he hugged the man back.
"My son, you are truly going to turn my soul grey one of these days." Hades sighed, but he didn't let go of the hug and instead clenched him tighter. "Next time you disappear and then return without saying anything, I'm tying you down and locking you up in the underworld." He growled out and Raven stared wide eye at the man.
His mind frozen on the "my son" part of the man's words. It wasn't that he was against it, but having it so sudden was a bit startling.
"Sorry, I'll make sure to be more aware of other people's feelings." Raven said softly as Hades sighed and let him go.
The lord of the dead was well aware of how Raven's mind worked, even after these couple of years knowing each other, he was still hesitant on talking about his feelings, and the less said about his fae heritage coming in more predominantly in regards to his mental growth.
"That's all I can ask, however I think this one has much more then me to say." Hades grinned as he gestured to the side and Izanami stood with her arms crossed and her foot tapping.
"Fuck." Raven said as Izanami began a three hour long rant.
•~~~~~•
"Wait- you mean to say you met BOTH Great Red and Ophis in that universe and got their permanent blessings!?" Hades interrupted. Izanami also stared wide eyed in disbelief.
"Yes. Though it was more Red being kinda chill and shit, Ophis got jealous and gave me her blessing too." Raven laughed as Hades slumped down. Izanami had turned into her cat form and was covering her head.
"I doubt you're even aware of how much people would be jealous of you." Hades said and Raven titled his head.
"For almost being killed by the infinite dragon god?" Raven asked with a chilly smile, and Hades waved his hand.
"No you dunce, the amount of people who can meet Great Red and Ophis, then live to tell the tale, can be counted on just two hands and have a couple fingers to spare. The amount who have BOTH their blessings, is even less. Actually, none have both their blessings at the same time in all of history, never have I heard of them giving a PERMANENT blessing though." Hades explained and Raven hummed as he rubbed his chin.
"I see your point, now I'm curious though, I get Red, Ophis and The 666 are in the top of the leaderboards, however who's the top 10 all around?" Raven asked asked curiously and Hades hummed.
Izanami took this moment to return to her human form and lay her head on Raven's lap, and said fae child just ran his fingers through her hair idly.
"A top ten huh? There's the version that's already out, as I'm sure you've seen already, but the actual top ten, that's a difficult one." Hades mumbled before he closed his eyes thinking.
1) Shiva/Yahweh
2) Chaos
3) Nyx/Ananke
4) Original Gaia(The Earth combined with Alaya)
5) Ddraig/Albion
6) Myself/Amaterasu/Gabriel/Michael/Crom Cruach/Indra/Brahma/Vishnu
7) Sun Wukong/Ajuka Beelzebub/Sirzechs Lucifer/Arceuid Brunestud
8) Thor/Odin/Kronos
9) Morgan Le Fay/Zelretch
10) Aoko Aozaki/Typhoon/Fenrir
"That's scary~" Raven giggled as he remembered Great Red telling him that he had felt Ananke staring at him curiously and his soul.
"At least you're aware of who to not piss off for when you inevitably do it." Hades sighed and Raven cackled.
He stood up and stretched, however in that moment he just vanished leaving two death gods to blink and sigh.
"There he goes again, to meet probably another being who could wipe him off the face of existence in a moment." Izanami sighed as she laid on the couch pouring.
"I'm too busy for this crap." Hades sighed as he slumped on the other couch.

Raven opened his eyes and found himself in the dimensional gap, again. This time it was just Great Red, however he maintained his giant form this time.
"How curious." His deep voice rumbled before he shrunk down to being about the size of a school bus. Raven let his true form come to the surface and smiled, he could tell this was his universes Great Red, since he didn't feel a minor connection with him.
"The fact that we're awesome, or the fact I've got yours, but not yours, blessing." Raven grinned as Great Red laughed.
"Oh no, being awesome is a requirement to be me, not so sure about you little faeling." Great Red teased and Raven cackled.
"I'd bet, but I'm sure you can tell what happened at a glance, however in short, a mishap with time sand, space and time energy, plus Zelretch's magic, I went to another universe, met another you and Ophis, got their permanent blessings. Then I ran off to make sure my companion didn't burn down that world." Raven said short and Great Red laughed amused.
"I think I understand now, with the connection you possess to The Great Origin Mother, it makes a lot of sense why that me would bless you." Great Red said as he leaned his head in closer.
"In fact, you remind me of an old friend, he too was a fae, possessing much greater power, but you possess the same powers as him, mostly." Great Red noted intrigued.
"They wielded true magic?" Raven asked curiously about another fae wielding Dawn Energy and True Magic. Any tips would be appreciated from a senior.
"Oh yes, the same kind as you do, however his felt more complete then yours did." Great Red said as he narrowed his eyes.
"Complete?"
"Yes, complete. If I had to explain it with mortal worlds, think of it like a gods domains. The Denial of Nothingness possesses complete control over [Creation and Destruction] however yours seems to be [Creation] and [Destruction]. The second part seems to be only faintly present, it exist, but it's almost like it was seperated in it's entirety almost." Great Red explained and Raven understood that.
"That actually explains a lot, I can create anything I can understand, however I could barely destroy anything at all, and it's only happened on accident once, even then I'm unsure if it was accidental magic or not." Raven said with relief and annoyance, his true magic was broken, he wants to file a complaint with the root!
She scammed him!
"Intruging, now tell me, what do you think of motorcycles?" Great Red asked seriously and Raven titled his head before smiling.
"They're nice, I love trucks more, but bikes are definitely just behind them, however I would need to supernaturally modify one to enjoy it." Raven said as Great Red grinned.
"I'm glad to hear that, you are truly intriguing Raven Inanis, your soul is a weird one. It as if you are an existence with a foreign origin, but that's also somehow not foreign." Great Red hummed before shaking his head as Raven titled his head confused and stored away that knowledge for later pondering.
"Now, you've already got my blessing, and doubling it over would be pointless, so what do you want instead?" Great Red asked seriously, and Raven felt this was a test.
"I want my mom." Raven stated seriously and Great Red narrowed his eyes before frowning.
"I can sense her in another dimension not connected to this planet, but some higher power prevents me from bringing her here." Great Red said apologetic, he would have gladly granted such a wish to reunite mother and son.
"Higher power?" Raven repeated softly.
"Indeed, conceptual beings who makes me look like a joke. Death, Life and more. I draw my own power from the conceptual being Dream. Hades and Izanami draw theirs from Death." Great Red explained and Raven slumped.
"How about this instead, I will weave the lingering essence of myself and Ophis into a familiar for you. You will have to hatch and raise it, but it will be a loyal familiar to you." Great Red said and Raven just nodded his head disappointed and confused, because why would a conceptual being prevent him from reuniting with his mom?
A small mesh of blue, white and black particles rose off of Raven and from around the gap red and purple ones appeared. Slowly the five colors of particles came together.
Eventually they broke apart to reveal a white egg with blue, red and purple lines designing it. Black dots laid across the egg.
"Inside this is the essence of a dragon mixed with mine, Ophis and your own energies. It's will be loyal to you and you alone. One day it will become a being revered across existence." Great Red said and Raven clutched the egg to his chest firmly, but not tightly.
"Thanks Red." Raven said softly opening a portal to leave the dimensional gap.
"Why did you prevent me from reuniting mother and son Lady Death?" Great Red asked as a being stepped out from behind him.
"The time for my champion and his mom to reunite is still not yet, if they did, existence itself would unravel at its seams." She said softly with some regret before vanishing.
"What kind of mess are you entangled in Raven Le Fay?" Great Red asked confused and slightly concerned, he felt a small connection beginning to form between them.
•~~~~~•
Morgan Le Fay froze momentarily as she felt something concerning. After that moment she returned to making her way through the current dimension.
•~~~~~•
Raven made his way back to the underworld and said he was fine after a meeting with this universes Great Red before he vanished.
He wouldn't be seen for the next week by anyone, any messages sent to him were returned saying he wishes to be alone for some time.
•~~~~~•~~~~~•~~~~~•
Raven gets heartbroken, again, he gets a familiar as compensation. Like I had to think of a way to not give Raven another power boost so soon, since he just got a major one two chapters ago, I decided why not a familiar for him to raise?
Anyways, all this shit happening with Charlie Kirk and his death is sickening. Like people are, a small majority, cheering a man died, like where is your humanity, a man died and all you can do is cheer? It's disgusting and revolting. Even if you don't like someone, doesn't mean you should cheer for his death, and the fact is that someone paid for a professional to shoot them too.
The worlds a disgusting place, it truly is, as the days go by, humanity keeps proving why we deserve a reset.
Anyways I hope you enjoyed the chapter, recent events have spoiled the mood.
Until next time!
Bye.
