Manman took the earrings out of the bedside drawer and handed them to him. Muo Huangnian took them, used tools to pry them open, and retrieved a grain-sized tracking device from within.
After fixing it, Muo Huangnian handed the earrings back to her, "Put them on."
He remembered, back then, when he personally put them on her, she said she liked them.
Manman put the earrings back on. As Muo Huangnian watched her through the mirror, he asked, "Do you like them?"
