"Don't talk nonsense, I'm worried about you making mistakes," Song Ze's eyes lacked warmth, signaling that he was on the verge of anger.

"Mistakes? I've made too many to count. Move out of my way; I must teach her a lesson today," Song Yue gritted her teeth.

She had just caused her great embarrassment; she couldn't just let it go, her hatred wouldn't subside.

"What has she done?" Song Ze frowned, growing colder.

"Ask her what good deeds she's done," Song Yue pointed at Ye Ranran.

Song Ze looked at her, his eyes questioning.

"There's nothing to say," Ye Ranran replied defiantly.

"Ranran," Song Ze's eyes, complex with blame, care, and a touch of sadness, fixated on her.

Ye Ranran was immune to coercion but vulnerable to such gazes.

"She didn't say anything, just that she forced a marriage," Ye Ranran turned her head away.

"You forced a marriage? Forced whom?" Song Yue immediately turned around, her black pupils chillingly cold, as if dousing one's heart with ice water.
