Out of the woods, the main road awaited outside. Number Four supported Ye Ranran, standing by the roadside: "I've already called for someone to pick us up. They should be here in about five minutes."
Ye Ranran felt utterly weak and limp, having tumbled down the previous day and starved all night, her energy was thoroughly depleted.
