Kawamoto Goroku held the handgun, his body already trembling. His eyes were fixed on Li Yifei, feeling like he was facing a monster. He never imagined, even in his dreams, that Li Yifei would be such a formidable person. "You... you don't come any closer, or I'll shoot." Kawamoto Goroku uttered the words with an almost palpable lack of confidence, nearly scared out of his wits. Li Yifei appeared, approaching slowly step by step despite the aimed gun, and Kawamoto immediately felt a sense of collapse. His gun was aimed at Li Yifei, but his hands were shaking, his arms trembling, his whole body was shaking. He couldn't even pull the trigger.
Li Yifei smirked, baring his teeth that seemed like a demon from the darkness to Kawamoto. He backed up, and after a few steps, his body leaned against the fence, unable to retreat any further.
