Jim swore that all these years of mixed up fights and scuffles, he had never been humiliated like today. He had plenty of subordinates, at least more than twenty, and lots of guns, but at this moment, he couldn't muster the courage to resist. He felt that if he made the slightest move, all twenty or so of his people would be finished.
Jim didn't know if this thought was right or wrong. Anyway, he chose not to act rashly and instead used his good hand to support himself as he really fell to his knees.
