Ophis went back to sleep.
Galadriel fetched Orloff back to the sea, and there would be a banquet there as well that I was invited to, and as much as I wanted to go... There was much to do.
Aqua remained in the meeting with Jicniv, Roxanne, Draudillon and Leone. As neighbouring nations, they still had matters to discuss, mostly regarding the jurisdictions of the Sun Church.
The five priestesses stuck with me and Elysir. My pets also came along... I felt like they wanted to say something, but they didn't.
Outside our home, things were very cheerful. People were dancing around a bonfire, laughing and eating. They could have perfectly done this outside the mirror world. In fact, now that the Elf Empire has taken over, there is no need for them to stay here. But I guess this place is just too beautiful for them to leave.
"Congratulations, Ray-sama, you looked splendid!" Katsuyu ran and embraced me with one of her slime bodies. I patted her head; it was all thanks to this little slug that everything was possible.
One of the many blessings that Tsunade left for me. She'd be proud, Katsuyu, who was not able to even control a slime body at first, now could run and use that body almost as well as I could use mine.
"Thanks, Katsuyu, I tried my best... it was a bit awkward though~".
"Umn, don't belittle yourself, Ray-sama. We are close... soon there won't be slaves in this world. We will give Tsunade-sama some good news".
"I'm proud of you, Ray" Elysir kissed my cheek. "You're starting to behave like a God now, it is not us who need a reward, but you~"
"Well, I had to eventually", I scratched my head.
"Did you see it...? With energy records?" She asked me. I stopped for a moment and then nodded. I am not a diplomat, much less a strategist... so I couldn't naturally come up with those ideas. Something I have, however, is the capacity to see the past, present and future of all energies that derive from Sun Energy.
I nodded.
It was far-fetched for me to say that I could see the future entirely. But one can certainly put some pieces together with enough information. Right now, in the present day after Avarice's fall, the energies of this world are spread evenly between Sun Energy and another more darker type of energy that I can't feel, but that I know is there, like a wall.
In the past, before I arrived, Sun Energy was way more scarce... almost inexistent. It served as a fuel for mana and magic, but it was so feeble compared to the darkness that virtually no one in this world could stop Avarice using magic.
The energy that counters hope, happiness, the sun... this energy is darkness and evil. It was the same energy that fed Avarice, and although I am not able to sense it, I have someone who can: A Yōkai, Hasshaku-sama.
Thankfully, after receiving my therapies, Haku and Yasaka have become existences that feed not only in this darkness, but also in Sun Energy. I knew that by choosing this path, the evil energy that Avarice had spent centuries cultivating was going to completely disappear, replaced with hope and happiness, the sun.
It can only translate to something good for this world; that's why I choose to do this instead. A future in which either of the nations takes over the Sloane Theocracy... would eventually lead to a future of darkness once more. Sooner or later, someone with desires of vengeance would rise again, and the cycle would start anew.
...
We looked at the clamouring crowd for a moment. They looked back at us and greeted.
"What should we do, master?~" Kurumi got in front and asked me. However, as she said that, she sent the two pets a glance, then at Elysir.
I should have sensed it from that moment.
"We should resume our operations. I am aiming to spend at most three more months in this world. Haku, I want you to do a favour for me, travel to Draconic Deus and bring Gabriel, tell her to come with a hundred angels to discuss important matters with Anna and Alana".
"Gabriel? Is she the leader of the Star Angels?" Anna asked me. She only knew Zariel. I explained to her that the leader of the Angels was Michael, but Gabriel wasn't far off... she had the authority to deal with diplomacy, as clumsy as she was.
"I want a hundred angels to live here... and I want a hundred elves to move to the heavens" I coughed a bit. This matter had been on my mind all this time. Don't think that I have forgotten.
"Fifty males and fifty females, preferably".
"Oh, you want mixed species, master?~" Haku giggled, exposing me completely.
I nodded. I still had a unique responsibility towards my dear angels. I had to impregnate plenty of them to assist in recovering their numbers. I had already impregnated Azrael, but as per our agreement, Azrael had to return to the heavens, and another angel, presumably Gabriel, had to be sent back to get impregnated too.
We didn't follow that agreement because Azrael didn't want to go back; she had wanted to go with Tsunade. And so, I completely avoided this responsibility.
However, now there was hope. Due to that bastard Decem Hougan, the male population among Star elves is very scarce. That bastard eliminated all the males possible to harness most females for himself and his group; only those capable of joining the army were allowed to live.
In the case of the angels, it was the opposite. There were a lot more males than females. So if I managed to cross both races, it should resolve both of their natality issues without me having to impregnate as many as possible.
At least, that's what I hoped.
"That sounds like a good idea, but... I don't think Michael is going to be satisfied with this," Elysir sighed.
"He will have to be", I gulped, thinking about all the women that I loved, that I wanted to marry... that I wanted to impregnate. There were already too many; I couldn't afford to add more. I also couldn't afford to impregnate angels and elves without taking care of my children in the future.
This notion wasn't proposed to me by Anna or Alana yet, but I know once they start taking on official matters, and speak to their ministers... this matter is going to be brought up, and they're going to ask me, even indirectly, to have more children among the elves.
It is not a matter of morality and perversion... it is a fact that my children will be way stronger and have a lot more potential than even the most talented of elves and angels. The same way Michael wants me to impregnate Angels, not only to solve natality issues, but also to create a new generation of way stronger Archangels that would also be demigods.
Last time he threw me a curve ball, saying that their numbers were increasing after the system was fixed, and that I didn't have to worry too much about numbers. But even then... he was still begging me to impregnate ten a day.
I don't think I can do that even if I try!
"Both of the dependent races happen to have natality problems, so... I should do something to fix that, right?" I gulped, inwardly shivering just at the thought.
Impregnating ten a day, while also having to satisfy these insatiable pets to stop them from destroying worlds in frustration? Sorry, Michael... I don't need that stress in my life. I am already keeping you all safe by keeping these pets at bay.
I thought the matter was settled, but then Haku approached me and whispered something in my ear.
"I don't think this is going to go as well as you want, master. You can't run away from that responsibility~".
I turned around to look at her, but she had already disappeared. Then Anna, Alana and the priestesses were giving me this weird look, blushing.
"Girls?".
"See you later, my lord" They all walked off, leaving me and Elysir alone.
"..."
I looked at Elysir, who was also blushing. She patted my shoulder, "Don't worry too much, Ray. It will all be enjoyable at the end of the day. Remember what I told you? I want to see all those cute stars~"
Elysir then walked off too. I don't know why she was laughing like a psychopath.
"H-Huh? Ely, what are you talking about? Something doesn't feel right".
"You're overthinking~".
