Chapter 262 - Chapter 258: Izuku’s Plan

The golden morning sunlight streamed through the curtains of Izuku's home, filling the air with the comforting scent of pancakes and syrup.

Eri, her little stuffed rabbit clutched in hand, scampered barefoot through the hallway, her excited voice echoing, "Big Brother Izuku! Pancakes are ready!"

"I'm coming, Eri!" Izuku called from the other room, emerging shortly after in a casual hoodie, his hair delightfully messy. He wore the serene smile of a man who hadn't encountered trouble in a long time.

In the kitchen, Rei hummed a soft tune while flipping pancakes, a picture of domestic tranquility.

Fuyumi carefully prepared tea, her movements precise to avoid any clinking of cups, while Maki and Momo engaged in a lively debate over syrup flavors. Kaina, her long hair tied back, sat by the window, calmly feeding the birds, an image of quiet composure.

Eri leaped into Izuku's outstretched arms, her grin wide. "Everyone's here! Just like a real family!"

"We are a real family, kiddo," Izuku replied softly, carrying her on his shoulders as he entered the kitchen.

Fuyumi playfully teased, "You're late. Again."

"I was making sure the porch plants didn't get too dry," Izuku defended, earning a smile from Rei, who added, "He even talks to the flowers now."Laughter filled the kitchen.

Maki commented, "You know, for a guy with insane power and combat training, always on the edge... you're really soft these days."

Izuku playfully retorted, "That's because I'm surrounded by dangerous women who keep me in check. Plus, the peace, when there's no crime, it's okay to take things a bit slow."

Momo, grinning, chimed in, "He learns quick."

They all settled around the dining table, laden with pancakes, eggs, toast, fresh juice, and tea. The meal was punctuated by laughter, gentle teasing, stolen glances, and warm smiles. Kaina meticulously sliced Eri's pancakes while Rei gently braided the little girl's hair.

"When I grow up, I wanna be like Big Brother!" Eri declared.

Kaina smirked, "Hope you're ready to handle seven different types of trouble, then."

"She already does. Just look at all of us," Fuyumi observed calmly.

Maki, looking at Izuku, noted, "You look happier."

"I am," Izuku admitted softly. "For the first time in a long time... it feels quiet." He surveyed the faces around the table, bathed in the soft sunlight. "Maybe... maybe we deserve this."

At the same time, in a Villain Base, Noir stood by a window, watching pigeons soar freely across the city skyline. "They laugh now. Eat. Play. Love," he said coldly. Behind him, Razor sharpened his blade, while Cipher meticulously reviewed satellite blueprints.

"Give it a week. Their smiles will taste like ash," Grudge sneered.

Noir quietly added, "And they'll never even see it coming."

Later that afternoon, back at Izuku's home, the group enjoyed the terrace lawn. Momo and Rei sat on a picnic blanket, engrossed in books and conversation.

Fuyumi helped Eri water the plants, while Maki and Izuku engaged in a gentle sparring match under a tree, both smiling, free from pressure. Kaina lounged in the sun, her sniper gloves discarded, basking in the warmth.

"Look! My sunflower's getting tall!" Eri shouted excitedly.

"Just like you, Sweetheart," Izuku said, wiping sweat from his brow.

Eri giggled, "Does that mean I'll beat you one day?"

"She's got your guts already," Maki grinned.

Fuyumi calmly added, "And she's got all our hearts."

A brief hush fell over them as the wind picked up, scattering petals across the yard. They simply breathed, happy and calm. There were no alarms, no chaos, just profound peace.

Meanwhile, in a Dark Room at an unknown location, a faint humming sound echoed through the cold, thick, black, reinforced walls. A dim light illuminated Izuku, not the joyful man from earlier, but the real Izuku.

He sat on a metallic chair, elbows resting on his knees, his face calm yet intensely focused, his eyes sharp, devoid of any soft smiles.

Across from him, a Shadowed Man, his face obscured, spoke in a calm but heavy voice. "The first attack will happen in America. Five days from now."

Izuku leaned forward, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Are you sure?"

"Yes. The black market's been silent for weeks. No deals. No movement. Not a single penny rolling. Nothing flashy.

All the syndicates—Yurei, Cobra Fangs, even the Ravagers—they're quiet. Too quiet," the Shadowed Man confirmed.

Izuku didn't blink, his gaze unwavering. "They're planning something."

"Yes. Something big. And it's not just America. One by one, the continents will feel it. Africa. Asia. Europe. None of them are safe," the man continued, lowering his voice.

"You need to be ready, Boss. Whatever's coming... It's not a single event. It's a chain. It won't stop. There will be a prolonged chaos, the whole world will be shaken like never before."

Izuku leaned back in his chair. "And what I asked for... is it ready?"

The man nodded, reaching into his coat and pulling out a sleek, black phone, which he handed over. "All set. Authorization codes changed. All access points rerouted. You can adjust or disable protocols however you want."

Izuku took the phone, examining its screen, which displayed encrypted codes and multiple control layers. He looked up, his voice colder. "And the people who worked on it?"

The man nodded quickly, a bead of sweat forming on his brow. "They've all been warned. Every single one understands—this project never existed.

None of them has met anyone. They don't know us. They've never met us. If anyone asks, they deny everything. I have made sure our names don't come out of their mouths even in polygram tests."

"And their families?" Izuku pressed sternly.

"They're already under watch. We have surveillance on their homes. If even one of them lets something slip—under alcohol, by accident, or pressure... we'll know," the man assured him.

Izuku's face hardened further. "Good. If any of them talk about it, to anyone—wives, kids, friends—I want you to capture their families immediately."

The Shadowed Man, visibly nervous, responded, "Understood."

Izuku's voice became dead serious. "Then eliminate the person they love the most… right in front of them.

And make sure they know exactly how easily their families were taken, and how their loved ones were killed—because of their own mistake… by their own hands.

If they ever speak about this to anyone… or try to take revenge on us… there will be no place on this earth where they'll be safe. But make sure it's done quietly.

If this operation is exposed… if even a whisper reaches the wrong ears… or my plan is jeopardized, your head will be displayed next to the others in the Hall of Exploits."

The room fell silent. The man gulped, then nodded. "I understand. I'll make sure your orders are followed through."

Izuku stood, sliding the phone into his pocket. His face was unreadable, but his eyes burned with unwavering purpose.

"Good," he said quietly. "Because if we fail… the world will fall apart before anyone gets the chance to save it. I'll make sure to burn this world down to its crisp, that too with my own hands."

In the Evening, back at Izuku's home, the clone Izuku lifted Eri high into the air as she shrieked with laughter. "Higher! Higher!" she exclaimed.

"You asked for it!" the clone Izuku said, smiling.

The sun began its slow descent, painting the sky with warm hues. The girls were happy. The world was calm. But the real Izuku was already moving through shadows, preparing for a war no one else even knew was coming.

Late that evening, an Unknown Location revealed a tall, broken-down warehouse at the city's edge, dark and silent save for the soft hum of streetlights and distant traffic.

Inside, past old crates and steel beams, a hidden door slid open with a quiet click.

Izuku stepped in, clad entirely in black—hood up, gloves on, his footsteps silent. His sharp eyes scanned the shadows as he moved deeper into the room.

A dim lamp hung from a wire in the center, illuminating a man slouched in a chair. He appeared young, perhaps Izuku's age, but his expensive clothes and styled hair suggested he belonged at a party rather than a clandestine meeting.

He smirked upon seeing Izuku. "You're late."

"I'm never late. You're just early," Izuku replied calmly.

The man chuckled, leaning back casually, his arms resting on the chair's sides. His eyes, however, were sharp and watchful. "Fair enough. So... I did what you asked."

He pulled a small flash drive from his coat pocket and tossed it towards Izuku, who caught it effortlessly without even looking. "Every plan. Every detail. Villain movements, contacts, supply lines. Targets. Locations. It's all in there," the man said quietly.

Izuku remained impassive as he plugged the drive into a small portable device and scrolled through the files. His expression didn't change, but his eyes rapidly absorbed the information. "So… they really plan to strike every continent. Not just America," he said coldly.

"Yeah. Like dominoes. First America. Then Europe. Then Asia. Africa. South America. The plan is to exhaust all the heroes—make them spread thin. And while they're scattered, the real blow will land in Japan," the man explained.

Izuku's jaw tightened. "The chaos starts abroad… so they don't see what's coming here."

"Exactly. They think you'll be distracted, chasing fires across the globe. But the real goal… it's you, boss. They want you gone. You're the one piece they can't control," the man clarified, his voice dropping. "I did what you asked. I kept my head down. I played dumb.

I played their game. I smiled when they said I wasn't a threat. I laughed when they called me a spoiled brat. He thinks I'm harmless. He thinks I'm just some useless kid acting out." He leaned forward, his face closer to the light. "But I got it all. Every piece of it. Just like you told me to."

Izuku watched him for a long, silent moment. Then, quietly, he said, "You've done well."

The Mysterious Man's eyes sharpened. "So… you'll keep your end of the deal, right?"

Izuku stepped closer, his voice low, dangerous yet calm. "Don't worry about it. When this is over… I'll fulfill my end. You have my word."

The man exhaled, nodding slowly. "Alright. Just make sure you keep getting this info. As soon as anything new drops, I'll send it. But you better make this count."

"I will," Izuku affirmed. "But remember your part. You're inside. I need everything the moment it happens. Every whisper. Every meeting. Every shift in movement. Do not miss a single thing."

The man smirked again, his confidence returning. "Relax. He thinks I'm too dumb to pull off anything real. As far as he's concerned, I'm just a kid with money and no brains.

Anything I do, he just waves it off as me throwing a tantrum." He stood, brushing imaginary dust off his jacket. "He'll never see it coming. And I won't get caught."

Izuku stared at him, unreadable, then gave a small nod. "Good. Stay in character. The moment they suspect you, this entire setup falls apart. And I won't be able to protect you."

"I don't need protection," the man countered.

"Everyone thinks that… until they're bleeding on the floor with holes in their bodies," Izuku stated flatly.

Silence. Then Izuku turned, walking toward the exit. Just before he vanished into the shadows, he spoke without turning around. "Next time… bring me something I don't already know."

He was gone, silent as a ghost. The man remained for a moment, his heart still pounding as he exhaled. "...Damn.

He's scarier in person," he murmured to himself. He turned off the light, slipping back into the darkness, ready to play the fool for just a little longer.
