Seeing Xin Yan looking directly at her as if she could see through the spirit world and watch her every movement made Wen Ji scared for her life.
Even when she saw the adorable cat roaming through the corridors of the castle, she did not get this scared. Maybe it was because she was expecting to see something like the cat, but Xin Yan looking at her was not something she was expecting.
