One of Bege's crew asked, "Boss, when are we setting sail for the Grand Line?"Bege replied slowly, "Not just yet. The time's close, though. A new era's beginning."
The look in Bege's eyes showed determination. He believed he was necessary for the new world order.

"Are you all prepared? Our next target is to unite all the gangs in this area. Then we've just got one obstacle left," Bege announced to his men.
As Bege contemplated, suddenly, their huge building was sliced in two!
"Who are you show yourself ?" Bege demanded, expecting a skilled swordsman.

Bege offered, thinking these were hired killers."I'm Luca," declared the leader. "I'm inviting you, Kapone Bege, to join my crew."
Bege realized they were pirates. He was not about to be a subordinate to anyone else."I won't work under anyone," Bege firmly stated.
"Attack and get rid of these intruders!"Without hesitation, Bege's guards charged at the newcomers.Seeing the overwhelming odds, Lafitte prepared to step in.
There were just too many enemies.Suddenly, an incredible force surged from Luca,
knocking everyone down, leaving only Luca and Lafitte standing in the entire area.
Bege, breathing heavily, looked at Luca with surprise and shock.
He spoke slowly, almost in disbelief, "What was that power just now? It felt like an entire mountain crashing down on me."
Luca hadn't unleashed his full conquerors Haki yet. If he had, it would have instantly overwhelmed and possibly harmed everyone present.
