Just like earlier, Dimitri simply looked at me, his emotions not showing on his face. He nodded his head a couple of times as if simply accepting everything that has happened as it is. He looked at Laerad and smiled back at him while wishing him a safe pregnancy and childbirth in a few months.
The two husbands shared a few stories and asked some questions about each other to be more familiar. Laerad, unlike the time I brought Kayden in, was more accommodating and he even served us some refreshments. He also did not look like he was in a hurry to kick us out. It was as if his jealous personality has mellowed down all of a sudden.
