Chapter 96 - I will do anything

The streets of sorcerer city still held this black vague unlively atmosphere around it.

Around it's buildings, most painted black with black roads stood street lights that illuminated every corner one turned.

It's people dressed in black clothes walked about with liveless pale expressionless faces.

It was dark yet Tyran could still feel the gloom in the air,the usual gloomy atmosphere of sorcerer city,an island seperated from the main land by a vast body of water.

Tyran didn't care he couldn't careless,as much as he hated coming here,he knew he needed to find Sheba, and fast.

He had just teleported to the city dressed in a black hooded cape which concealed most of his face, just what he wanted to avoid attention being drawn his way.

Tyran however wore his imperial ring,it was dark and no one would bother straining to see the small empire seal on it.

Having vanished to reappear close to it's castle,Tyran walked into a corner and couched low.

Placing his palm to the ground,he felt the magic energy coursing through every part of his body.

Normally having teleported at such distance would have him almost running out of magic energy but he had absorbed the essence from two savages before he made his way here,a huge amount of magic energy.

Tyran inhaled deeply before exhaling, his eyes glowed bright golden as his body released waves of magic energy unseen to the naked eye.

He searched through sorcerors castle,a place which housed many democrats of the nation and the council of elders in Delvin.

From his vantage point,he could see every thing from the foot of the building to it's roof except some rooms that had been spelled to prevent anyone from knowing what it contains.

Tyran spotted Sheba discussing with an elder and member of the council whom he recognized by a hallway.

They stopped talking immediately he appeared both freezing to stare his way.

His scent had given him away but he held their gazes for a while until he took off his hood.

Lord Hart fell to his knees bowing his head low and for a while Sheba's glared at him until her eyes met Lord Hart urging gaze.

She slowly got to her knees and bowed her head low through a set of clenched teeth, her brows furrowed.

"Arise!"Tyran commanded, his gaze affixed on Sheba.

The both arose and Sheba abruptly turned to leave.

"Wait!"the emperor called out.

"I come here seeking your council and wisdom..great sorceress".

He turned to Lord Hart who watched them both closely.

"You may leave us".

Lord Hart gracefully took a quick bow before vanishing.

"And what does the great knowledgeable emperor need my wisdom for"Sheba said in a sharp tone, her voice mingled with rage.

"We can't talk here...a sound proof room perhaps".

Sheba turned his way eying him for a brief moment before letting out an outstretched arm which Tyran took.

The next moment he found himself in a dark barely illuminated room filled with book shelves and green crystal lights mounted on each corner of the wall.

Stuffy at it was,it's windows where shut and the pungent offensive smell of a boiling green liquid filled the air.

Tyran coughed out loudly as it ran down his throat, stinging his airway.

"By secluded and sound proof I didn't mean this".

"Art thou not well aware of the kind of semonios around here... hearing through sound proof walls wouldn't be any big of a problem for them but this area is the furthest place in this castle, rarely would anyone come this way."

"Thank you"Tyran muttered watching her closely.

"Even if I had your thanks I would respectfully return them".

Tyran's eyes darted around the large room till he found two seats over a desk.He walked over and sat on it before motioning for Sheba to have hers.

In an instant, the sorceress's impatient face stared back at him as she reappeared on the seat.

Tyran watched her in silence for a while, unsure of what his next move would be,a request he already had Sheba's answer to,she would never help him protect his son but he had come ready, willing to do anything,he would at least try.

"I need your help..."he paused before taking Sheba's hand from across the table.

"What is it you want?"she asked, angrily withdrawing her hand.

"I beg of you sorceress help me protect my son,I need to know how to mask his scent and Aura..I_".

Sheba's brows furrowed the more as her face flushed with anger.

She abruptly got to her feet but froze when she saw Tyran get to his knees, his face lowered.

"I beg of you....I will do anything_just_please help me this once".

Sheba's gaze slightly softened as an eerie smirk formed on her lips.

"Anything?"

*************************

King Max watched Gaby who lay on the only bed in the dark cell.

He turned to Dark who didn't look his way his face expressionless as he stared at the young boy.

"What do you mean he refuses waking up?"he barked.

"Your majesty,I can't say for sure but he appears to be in a coma and refuses himself wak_"

"Speak a language I understand!!"

"The lad casted a comatosing spell,it's a magic that allows the caster to go into a coma and awaken only when he wants to,The caster will remain this way feeding on his own magic and life force till he eventually dies unless he choose to awaken.

"What!"

"Currently, the lad lives in a dream world he created having all what he longs for".

"The king's brows furrowed as he shot Dark an angry stare."Where did he learn such ancient magic!"

"The lad appears to have attained a midtier rank at such young age...as to where he learnt such,I have no idea neither did I know he was this enlightened".

"Kill him!"the king ordered.

Dark looked his way as the turned to leave, not uttering a word.

"As much as he was useful to me what good is an unconscious brat to me now".

"Kill him, dispose of his corpse or have the wild dogs eat him for all I care"King Max waved a hand in the air before angrily stalking away.

The king vanished to appear in his bed chamber.

He caught sight of Queen Aries watching him closely as he sighed several times cursing his luck.

"What's with the mood today?"Aries asked in her usual gentle low pitched tone, the one she used not just when she was with her husband but also whenever she feigned a gentle flawless caring queen to her subjects.

"Curses!"an irritated maximum barked into the darkness without turning to look her way.

"I can't believe he killed her, that was the last thing I thought he would do.... honestly I thought my plans where going smoothly and well until...."he paused and turned to Aries.

"Maybe she messed up...if so then she deserved whatever came her way".

Queen Aries motioned for him to come through a wide smile.

The king hesitantly climbed into bed, cuddling her from behind before kissing her neck.

"You know i am not in the mood for this right now"he said mustering his softest tone.

He placed a hand on her protruded tummy as he watched her caresshis face, looking deeply into her eyes.

"You are near your delivery date...you need not stress yourself any longer...no lonely walks or long distance travels and no visiting the imperial palace till our child is here"

Queen aries frowned then opened her mouth to protest but the king cut in.

"Promise me".he said,his gaze stern.

Queen Aries watched him, knowing she dared not argue.

Her husband already had a lot on his plate and she had no intention of adding more worries to it.

"my love...you have my word".

King max faked a smile before resting his head on the pillow and pulling the sheets over them

"There is another way to prevent the prophecy".

King maxmillian abruptly sat up,his gaze fixed on her looking interested.

"I suggest we convince the Emperor to bethrow the Imperial prince to our daughter as soon as she is born if it's a female and just incase Prince Garrith and Kaugra will marry to create an offspring for his bethrowal....any which way works"

King max smiled widely exposing a set of sharp white fangs.

He jumped on his wife hugging her tightly from her side as he rained down kisses all over her.

"I will inform Prince Garrith tomorrow".
