Chapter 107 - Back home

From behind her desk,Sheba's gaze remained on the Emperor who had just appeared without uttering a word.

Tyran stared back,he could see lots of questions trapped in them which she wasn't letting out,not that he had the time to answer any.

He dropped the fang and green crystal on her desk and turned to leave.

"I'll leave the rest to you"

"I thought you wouldn't return"Sheba said crossing her hands.

Tyran turned her way and flashed a crooked smile.

"Don't tell me you were worried about me"

The sorcess clicked her tongue and looked the other way.

"It would be easier to breach Delu and do away with him if you were dead".the sorceress said but the soft tone of her voice told him otherwise.

She had been worried he wouldn't return.

Tyran backed her, shut his eyes them reopened them.

"The Knighting ceremony of your new knight will take place a day after your return...You left your throne without a word or trace, tredding the footsteps of a complete fool!".

Tyran looked at the sorceress, his brows furrowed.

Sheba's vulgar words always directed at him was a show of utter disrespect and deserving of punishment but he knew better than to vent his anger at a time he needed such an important favour from her.

"You have my gratitude for your concern Sheba,I will be needing the items before sunrise".

He teleported to Fiona's bed chamber and went through what appeared to be a wall chanting a breaching spell as he did.

Tyran's knees trembled from exaustation but he struggled forward.

The day of the of the emperor's knight would be a day he came face to face with the people of Delvin and Ren had previously mentioned an uproar, also the fairy of the mist had said the same thing.

Tyran knew it would be a day Delvin would demand to see it's imperial prince, the day he had been working so hard for and a perfect time to give his advasaries the shock of their lives.

But he needed Ramse's co-operation to do that.

Ramses stood at the door to Fiona's bed chamber,he had percieved his father's scent earlier and those huge grey eyes lit up as he saw him.

Tyran crouched low and grinned at him before picking him up but Ramses didn't smile back.

"Are ye not pleased to see me my boy?"Tyran said in attempt to k

"You look awful...and something tells me you have been up to no good"Ramses said leaning in,his lips pouting.

"Where did you go?"

Tyran laughed.

There was no way he was going to give him a clue, his journey to the unclean realm was not something he would mention to a three year child.

Tyran placed him on the bed and crouched low, gently patting on his silver hair.

"You are in a good mood for something no good"Ramses said, his eyes inquisitive.

"I am"Tyran sighed."Tomorrow Delvin gets to see it's imperial prince.

"What!"Ramses looked astounded.

"And I will need you to act like a child your age"

"How does a child my age act?"Ramses raised a brow.

"Look, you are different from other children...just Don't do anything stupid or any thing out of the ordinary, infact don't do anything at all and most importantly,do_not_speak!"Tyran warned.

"Father, how is that possible...what did you do?"

"You don't need to know...Ramses,you only need to know I would do anything to protect you".

Carolene came out from the next room and both eyes settled on her.

She quickly bowed respectfully and rushed back in to prepare Ramses's bath water.

"Is Ruel coming too?"

Tyran eyed Ramses.

Of cos not!he wanted to say but instead replied;"why?"

"I want Ruel to come along, haven't seen my brother in a long time...I promise to be on my best behavior it he attends".

Tyran sighed.

"Fine!...I will let him attend".

Ramses smiled for the first time at his father who could read the excitement from his tiny features.

After being locked in for three years and finally allowed to see the world who wouldn't be astounded.

"Be prepared to resume school as well my boy".

The smile on the little prince's face disappeared immediately.

"Oh no!"he exclaimed.

"Oh yes!"Tyran flashed a mischievous smile.

"Father!I am smart enough,I need not attend school for any reason!"

Tyran folded his hand and eyed his son who was now kicking in the air,his lips pouting.

"That is true you are smart but how do you hon your magic abilities?".

"Father you are the ruler of this place and you can make anything happen, just get me someone".

"I attended school as well when I was your age,it taught me a lot".

"But I am not my age father,I don't act it....I Know that much".Ramses protested and Tyran grabbed both his shoulders gently, looking deeply into his eyes.

"My boy,I just want you to live a normal life like every normal royal kid out there...I don't want you locked in,I want you having friends to share your laughter with, peers and teachers like every other kid out there.Trust me you won't regret this".

"Is Ruel in school too?".

Tyran nodded.

"Ruel resumed school two years earlier which means he is now three classes ahead of yours".

"Bring him back to my class"

Tyran laughed.

"That is not something you can decide".

"It's your fault I did not start school with the others".Ramses pointed a finger at his father before folding his tiny hands,as his gaze fell to the floor.

"Coming from someone who hates school".

"I could go if Ruel would be in my class".

Tyran slapped his head,he was getting tired of Ramses's whinnies and complains who would believe him if he told them he was in an argument with a three year old lad who was winning him.

"It doesn't work that way,you see Ruel is two years older than you...so two years means two classes ahead, and since you didn't resume with the others your brother is if you skip like that you will miss out on a lot of things, unless the imperial academy finds you worthy of granting you such privilege".

"So I have to study hard?"

Tyran nodded and got to his feet.

"I have to go my boy".

"Yea...you need an urgent bath".

Tyran grinned before fading from sight to appear in his room and there was General Ren,sitting by a corner.

But what snagged his attention was the scrolls lying next to the general, that was the last thing he wanted to see at the moment.

Ren stood up and bowed before returning back to his position.

"I brought the most important you urgently need to see".he said without looking the emperor's way.

Tyran glanced over at the scrolls before his gaze settled on the general.

"Were you not curious of my where abouts?"he asked but regretted asking knowing the general didn't care about his whereabouts,he never really cared about anything at all but was surprised when Ren responded.

"The Unclean realm"

Of cos,the unclean realm was something like his birth land he had probably gotten that information from the folks out there.

Tyran picked up the smallest of the scrolls.

"Don't ask me anything...I won't answer".Ren mumured and Tyran raised a brow, knowing what he meant,of cos he knew that already so he wasn't intended to.

"A wedding invitation...of Lady Kaugra and Prince Garrith"Tyran said out loud with a smile to nobody but himself because when he lifted his gaze from the piece of paper, the general had vanished from sight.
