Chapter 787 - Chapter 787: Dragons Might

Speaking of the Five Emperor Dragons, one naturally has to mention the card at the pinnacle of the Dragon-type hierarchy in Yu-Gi-Oh!

It is a fusion created from five Dragon-type monsters as materials, possessing heads of Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Dark attributes, and has the effect of being indestructible in battle against monsters of those five attributes.

Although not particularly famous as a boss in Yu-Gi-Oh!, it is still an immensely powerful opponent, regarded as an evil god, with its only weakness being Light attribute.

Now, such a dragon appeared before everyone.

Indeed, the current form of the Colchis dragon was a modification Alaric made based on the Five Emperor Dragon.

As everyone knows, while dragons possess formidable physical strength and innate magical abilities, the true power of a dragon lies in its innate skill, its breath.

Different dragons have different breath abilities.

In World of Warcraft, red dragons breathe the Life Fire, green dragons exhale poisonous natural breath, blue dragons wield frost and arcane powers, bronze dragons unleash temporal damage, and black dragons have the most destructive breath, infused with lava.

Besides these, storm dragons breathe storms and lightning, and some green dragons' breath transforms entirely into venom, and so on.

The Five Emperor Dragon represents Alaric pushing ordinary dragon breath abilities to their extreme.

The heads corresponding to each elemental attribute naturally produce breath matching their nature.

Flames for Fire, frost for Water, metallic strikes for Earth, lightning and storms for Wind, and corrosive negative energy for Darkness.

Alongside these abilities, the Five Emperor Dragon also possesses extremely high resistance to these elemental types.

After applying the ability to materialize souls onto the dragon, Alaric naturally performed further modifications.

However, the modifications are not yet permanent, so the Five Emperor Dragon's form cannot remain constantly, it can only be used as a skill.

Even so, for facing the Argonaut heroes, it was already more than sufficient.

Now, seeing a dragon whose body hadn't grown much but now had four additional heads, the Argonaut heroes exchanged glances and swallowed nervously.

This enemy seemed incredibly strong. How were they supposed to fight it?

They hesitated, but the Five Emperor Dragon did not.

Facing the stunned Argonauts, it launched its attack immediately.

"Taste the fury of five elements!"

The dragon's voice remained that icy female tone, but amplified fivefold. Of course, due to the structural differences between the five heads, even the same voice had subtle distinctions.

When the five voices overlapped, the effect was peculiarly eerie.

But the Argonauts had no time to contemplate this eeriness.

The dragon's attacks came one after another.

It began with the terrifying dragon breath.

The five heads simultaneously unleashed storms of elemental fury at the Argonauts.

The flame-headed dragon naturally spewed pure fire.

Though only one head, the intense orange-red flames were hotter and wider in range than a single head's usual breath.

Wherever it touched, the land scorched, and even the trees ignited.

The metallic head fired like a gatling gun, spraying streams of metal fragments.

Though these fragments didn't explode, their danger was far greater, they maintained pure physical attack and penetration, like a Gauss rifle or electromagnetic gatling.

Trees and the ground were pierced, any person struck would have massive holes torn into them.

The blue-scaled head, representing Water, unleashed freezing torrents.

The extreme cold blanketed the ground and air in frost, anyone caught inside would be frozen solid.

The white-feathered head, representing Wind, opened its maw, summoning wind and lightning.

Terrifying strikes blackened the ground instantly, while the raging winds left destruction in their wake.

Finally, the black head embodied negative energy.

Its corrosive black power caused everything it touched to rot and decay. Land became barren, trees withered, and any person or animal grazed by it decayed into ruin.

The elongated necks allowed the five heads to strike from multiple angles with virtually no blind spots.

The Argonauts were doomed.

They could barely evade a single breath before, but now with quintuple-strength dragon breath, many had nowhere to dodge.

From his position at the back, Jason watched several comrades die before his eyes.

Some were engulfed in flames, turned from living beings into torches, and in their agonized screams, burned to charred husks.

The pain from the burns was excruciating, their screams unending, and Jason could even smell the searing flesh.

A chill ran through him, he knew he wouldn't dare eat roasted meat for some time.

Those hit by the metallic torrent fared even worse.

It was as if struck by countless electromagnetic cannons.

The high-speed metal fragments carried immense kinetic energy, instantly tearing large holes in anyone struck.

Perhaps because the victims were demigods or elite warriors, the imagined massive destruction didn't occur, the fragments only left piercing wounds.

At such extreme speed, the heroes couldn't avoid harm, but at most suffered penetrative injuries.

One or two piercing wounds might seem minor, but countless metal fragments were terrifying.

And the metallic head's torrent did exactly that.

In mere moments, the heroes unable to escape were riddled like sieves, truly like sieves, their bodies covered in blood holes with no part left intact.

Those struck by the freezing breath were frozen solid within a second.

The Greek heroes lacked the extreme cold resistance of their Norse counterparts, accustomed to the Mediterranean climate, they became ice sculptures in the frigid air almost instantly.

Those caught by wind and lightning were hardest to evade.

Even the high-speed metal torrent couldn't match the speed of true lightning. Victims struck were scorched black in the shape of lightning, dying almost immediately.

The strangest were those hit by the negative energy.

Touched by that eerie black breath, the victims seemed to have their life force drained in an instant, aging rapidly.

In just a second or two, a prime-age hero became an old man, finally crumbling into a handful of bones.
