Synopsis
===== Off Route Plotline: ===== Centuries ago, mankind had invented the first simple machines, and then that led to the 18th century, the beginning of the industrial revolution, which resulted in the massive economic spike across various continents, its ripple effects seeping their way across continents with a sizable population. Then a century later, 2 decades into the 19th century, something terrible happened to a certain town on the outskirts of an expanding cityscape, leaving behind a sinkhole resting on a semi-dormant mass of flesh. With no survivors found, the last descendants of the Town’s Mayor with crazy ambitions reopened the town as a tourist attraction, which became rather infamous; however, this tourist attraction would have gotten into the press papers of a belgian Scientist & Inventor. And with this sparking their interest, would have commenced a series of experiments conducted behind closed doors, and with the Belgian Government were tight on collecting documents about these experiments, and the property demolished, has lead to the events of Off Route in-general, and the invention of “Sentientation”. Sentientation itself, the process would have created the first life, in machine form, specifically in vehicles.

Chapter 1 - The John Doe Incident (01/08/(20)15)

(Hey! Message from the Author here! I encourage everyone to swap around between Chapters, since different chapters get updated at different times)

...

On 01/08/15 (May 1st), 2 men, aged 71 and 37, were seated in their frontyard garden before being 2 of many witnesses of a kidnapping case.

A Faint Black Silouhette of a Trolley Carriage was seen atop the hill of Poole Road; later, city authorities reported a trolley derailment furthered by an explosion; however, no signs of a vehicle were found; however, there were 26 bodies found. However, the people found were subject to many unusual cases.

The people were recovered from the acident, and were taken to a local hospital, however all 26 of them either didn't have an identification card, or had an identification card of an N. E Pearson (Non-Existent Person), the identification cards of the deceased, but were assure of their identities. Claiming to be the deceased person.

Further investigation of the matter and questioning of locals in the area revealed that at the same time, a 16-year-old teenager had been abducted by unknown means; however, there remained a massive hole in the front wall of his dwelling but no reported signs of a Vandal.

Investigation for fingerprints at the crime scene has gone underway.

3 Days later, the Press asked Chief of Police Thomas. William New-Crewfield Jr. for a statement; he initially stayed quiet, but 2 hours later formulated a response about the case. The letter was vague, not disclosing much about the case because of the "confidential details" of the investigation, but did comment that this was the hardest case he has been appointed to handle in his whole life.

 Entry No. 238 - 08/05/08

Log No. 238 in my journal: we have just begun investigation into the disappearance of 16-Year Old ______. _ _____[1], whom shall now be labelled as John Doe #00 000-Aa for

be labelled as John Doe #00 000-Aa for privacy/protection reasons.

So far, very little progress. I do (unfortunately) have very few details about the 26 individuals who were found injured after the Tram Carriage Explosion, other than I saw early this morning they were taken to Royal Bournemouth Hospital, but something strange had happened there.

I was writing this before bed today, so I'll come over and visit the nurses at the hospital to see what's up?

 Entry No. 238 Terminated.

The Authorities have stayed very quiet about the Poole Road Kidnappings and Injuries Incident; however, that didn't stop the locals from coming up with their conspiracy theories on what the incident exactly was.

However, something strange had happened; someone had apparently taken a photo of the Tram before the incident, the photo was printed as a physical copy, and it was mailed to the police; under the alias of "Billy Johnny", Mr. Johnny here also turned out to have been a fake alias, thus rendering this individual as N. E Pearson #38 467-Df.

Mr. Johnny had taken said photo at the Furnace Cafe by Bournemouth Gardens, where the "derailment" took place, and the photo is in black and white and is of rather poor quality.

The Photo seemed to depict the same trolley carriage, but the blurriness and poor quality of the photo made the number unclear to the viewers; however, ahead of the carriage was a locomotive. the locomotive at best resembled any typical 19th/20th century tank engine; however, it is unclear, but the locomotive itself appeared rather simplistic, geometric, and lacked several external components. However, the most glaring detail is what seems to be a cardboard cutout mounted at the front of the engine.

Many believe this photo was real; however, a minority speculate that this was what the cause of the accident was.
