Chapter 1445 - 1441 Clouds Disperse, Moon Shines

His face was covered in soot, waving his hands excitedly like a simpleton.

Young Master Liu, Liu Qianhu, was shouting incoherently.

Perhaps because there had been too many false alarms, Liu Mianmian didn't believe it and merely smiled wryly, still retching, vomiting only sour bile, with the pain in her abdomen growing more intense.

She glanced at Wang Si, and although she didn't speak, her expression was clear: don't deceive me anymore.

Just then, a weak voice sounded: "Sister..."

Liu Mianmian's body froze.

"Should I call you sister, or Madam Liu?" the voice spoke again.

It was only then that Liu Mianmian slowly lifted her head, stiffly turning her neck, to see the man being supported by Xiaohei and another soldier of the Imperial Army, slowly approaching her in the dark.

His clothes and face were covered in soot, hair in disarray, looking incredibly disheveled, coughing as he walked.
