Guo Chun first saw a pair of intricately embroidered boots, and then, looking up, a purple skirt adorned with clusters of blooming chrysanthemums. In this Cold Palace, it seemed to almost glow, dazzling beyond compare.
Then, a familiar voice rang out: "Oh, isn't this my dear sister? What are you up to?"
Guo Chun's spine stiffened.
The inevitable had come!
"Could it be that you're about to eat this steamed bun?" Guo Yin looked extremely disdainful, "Even if thrown to a dog, the dog wouldn't eat it. How did my sister become so destitute?"
As she spoke, she stepped on the back of Guo Chun's hand with one foot, pressing down hard. Despite her words, she smiled: "If you eat this bun, you'll get sick. How could a sister let her little sister suffer like this? Stop eating!"
