Awa nodded, then took a few pieces of beast skin by his side and covered Ada's body. Only then did he move the large stone blocking the cave entrance, leaving just a narrow gap sufficient for himself to slip out. As soon as he exited, he blocked the entrance again with the stone.
But in that brief moment, a streak of cold wind managed to seep in. Inside the cave, Ada's body trembled. He bit down hard on his forearm to suppress the scream that was about to escape his lips, managing to let out only a muffled groan.
"Shaman Ji Nuan! Shaman Ji Nuan!" The urgent cries woke up two dozing orcs.
Ji Nuan rubbed her eyes and looked toward the already-dressed orc. "Who is it?"
Xiu Yan glanced at her, his expression slightly displeased. "Seems like the younger brother of the lame orc."
"It must be Awa. You don't even remember their names, do you?"
Xiu Yan snorted coldly. "Why bother remembering them?"
With that, he got up, bypassed the fire wall, and walked outside.
