He opened his bag in surprise and found that the Blood Crystal Stone used to contact the Thorns Duke was shaking, which meant Lady Shani from the Thorn Clan was actively reaching out to him.
This made the Wise Wolf very puzzled.
He had little interaction with Duchess Shani, only previously borrowing the intelligence network of the Thorn Clan and incidentally inviting some assassins to join his "expedition". However, even Hog knew from the exaggerated descriptions of players that Lady Shani was an exceptional vampire leader.
Such a character certainly wouldn't bother giving an idle prank call to a werewolf like him, so something must have happened.
