"Good!"
Pei Ye smiled and stretched his arms.
By the pool, it was quiet for a moment. The morning breeze brushed their faces, and Liuli floated on the water while the Black Cat lightly leapt onto Ming Qi Tian's lap. The woman looked down at it and scratched its chin.
Pei Ye paused for a moment and tilted his head, "Miss Ming, do you have anywhere to go next?"
Ming Qi Tian shook her head, "I don't have anything planned today."
Pei Ye thought for a moment, "I haven't had breakfast yet. Beyond this market, there's a bun shop on West Street that's very delicious, steaming hot and extremely soft. Would Miss Ming like to join me for some?"
Ming Qi Tian didn't need food, but she often used to taste things with Pei Ye. She nodded, "Okay."
By this time, the sun had risen a bit higher, and the laughter of children erupted not far away. Some were holding little sticks, others wooden birds, rushing out and staring blankly at the two by the pond.
