A pitch-black great carriage passed through the Imperial City, escorted by two thousand eight hundred Mystic Armor warriors. All the courtiers of the Southern Office witnessed this scene, and those in blue robes and red and purple, upon hearing the commotion, lifted their curtains and stepped out, all remaining silent.
For the first time in years, apart from the Imperial Army, a second type of armor appeared here.
The officials were much more sensitive than the common people. Some were already aware of the King of Yan's visit to the capital, while others were unaware. Shocked by the sight, they soon confirmed the long procession's identity and were again astonished.
Central Plains had no such armor, nor did the south. Its color was pitch black, only appearing vivid on snow or ice. It was heavy and menacing, twice as thick as ordinary armor, and sharp and terrifying, with many protruding corners and claws.
