Looking at the new faces in the Legion, he chuckled, "Recruiting again?"
"No shit. A lot died back then, so we had to recruit more. They're all Second-stage, same as you."
"What's happening in the Elven World? Don't tell me it's an invasion by Evil Elves?"
Arlene shook her head. "No, a rift to a Different World suddenly opened, and the monsters that came through don't belong to the Defiled God Camp."
"There are others not from the Defiled God Camp?"
"Of course. Those are worlds left by other divine beings, sealed within the rift until the seals loosened. A lot of monsters broke out, and we need to go exterminate them."
"Are there many monsters?"
"Yes."
"How did the rift just open all of a sudden?"
Arlene shook her head again. "That I'm not clear on. The All Gods issued an order to lead people into the Elven World to assist. Aren't you looking to upgrade your Level? Well, that's an opportunity right there, and there are rewards in the Elven World too!"
