The second round of the arena battles began!
The method remained the same: opponents were chosen by drawing lots.
Qin Wudao was rather lucky, drawing a young prodigy from the Great Shang Dynasty. Though slightly stronger than Ning Sui Feng, Qin Wudao defeated him and knocked him off the stage in just a dozen rounds.
Then came the third round, the fourth, the fifth...
All the opponents Qin Wudao drew were not particularly strong. Especially in the fourth round, when he drew his own subordinate, Li Kui, he advanced automatically without a fight.
It wasn't until the sixth round that he drew a formidable opponent: Batu!
On the arena stage, two figures stood. Their fearsome fighting spirit surged, their indomitable martial wills collided, and their boundless immortal Qi clashed, carving out two separate domains.
One domain represented an Emperor; the other, the Wilderness!
