This is the capital of the Summer Country.
For a thousand years, the Great Xia has endured, its foundations deep-rooted. Once sweeping across the eastern Southern Territory, they moved the capital here, naming it "Noble City," meaning the abode of the supreme.
Despite experiencing defeats in the eastward expeditions, facing the threat of national destruction, losing kings, and lands, it survived tenaciously.
The once formidable Emperor Xia Xiang, along with all his adult children, perished on the battlefield. Only a nine-year-old son, sheltered in the deep palace, remained.
The Empress Dowager Xia governed, and Wu King Si Jiao commanded the military, working together to uphold the state. They had Emperor Xia Xiang's young son ascend the throne, changing the era name to Shenwu, to signify never forgetting their martial prowess, marking memories of the eastern advance.
And so it continues to the present...
It is now the thirty-second year of Shenwu.
