"Bob, Tell to all of them that we will have a family meeting tonight and spread the news about what happened at the auction. This will lift up the morale of our allies." Robert grins.
"Yes Master!" Bob quickly left and made the arrangements.
The news of the Douglas and Wade family's defeat at the auction quickly spread throughout the city. Confirmed by the people who attended the auction, the news is making a big wave. Even the bigwigs of the nearby cities are aware of what's happening in oracle city. The balance of power will about to change. For them they're just waiting for the results.
"What? I can't believe it"
"It seems that the Jenners are really capable"

The allies and the business partners of the Jenner family are elated however on the other hand the Wade and Douglas family members has darken faces including the helmsman of both families.
"Tsk.. It's just a small victory and yet they are celebrating already?" Damon crushed his teacup into pieces. 'Just you wait Robert, I'll destroy you!'
Bonna and Josh are on the way to her grandpa when she suddenly receives a call from her dad.
"Bonna, Good job! We are so proud of you! We will have a family meeting at 8pm. You and Josh should go back to the house for now." William was delighted when he heard the news.
"Thank you dad, I'll go to my company and work on the project that you assigned to me. I'll promise, I won't be late."
"Okay, take care. Oh and one more thing. Bring Josh later to the meeting"
"Are you sure dad?"
"Yes, why?"
She speaks in a soft and low to prevent Josh from overhearing the conversation "Isn't it inappropriate? I mean he's not part of the family yet"
"It's fine, trust me"
"Okay dad, take care" she hung up and looked at Josh. "Are you going with me to the company?"
Josh shook his head and said "No, I need to do something"
"Is that important?"
"Yes" He nodded
"Well, don't be late. We have a family meeting at 8pm." There's a hint of disappointment in her tone. 'I still want to spend time with him' she sighs in her heart.
"What? Me? I'm not part of the family yet. Is it okay for me to come?" He is dumbfounded.
Bonna looks at him and teases him. "Not part of the family YET? You are so confident that you'll be part of the family huh?" She smirks.
His face turns instantly red as a tomato "No..No..No.. T-that's not what I mean.... I mean..."
She laughs as she finds him hilarious "I can't believe that you made some wealthy people shut up but you're stuttering now. The contrast is really huge"
He sighs in relief.. "Don't tease me like that again"
"Hey, you're the one who phrased your words that way not me" She rolls her eyes and chuckles.
"Alright... Alright.." He looks away with a blush on his face.
At the Grant's villa...
Samson Grant the helmsman of the A rank Grant family is sitting casually at the backyard of his villa and eating some sandwich when suddenly his butler came to him with a grim expression.
"Mr. Grant, our assassin team was almost wiped out" says the butler.
"What?! How is that possible! Did the Jenner anticipated our move?" he instantly stoop up.
"Yes they did. One of the assassin came back alive and he carried the bodies of his members. What's frightening is he didn't escaped, he plead for his life to be spared."
"The Jenner spared him?" Samson is confused.
"Yes and according to him, only one man defeated them" he nodded
Samson's face darkens.. "Who's that man?"
"The Jenner's future son-in-law"
The revelation made his knees weak and he slumps on the grass. He subconsciously touched his neck as he remembers the frightening moment when he almost died in Josh's hands. He slowly stands up but his knees are still trembling. What happened at the engagement party haunts him and what he saw on Josh's eyes that day gave him nightmares every night.
"Mr. Grant, are you okay?" butler's face are full of concern.
"I'm fine, is there anything else" Samson sips some tea to calm down.
"The man said that he will be here tonight"
In an instant Samson accidentally spit his tea. "What the f*ck? Are you serious?"
A loud bang interrupted Samson's conversation with his butler. Both of them look at each other.
"Are you ready to die Samson?!" Josh shouted.
He is standing in front of the villa after he smashed the villa's gate. Guards from the Grant family rush to look for the troublemaker. In just five minutes, Josh finds himself surrounded by hundred guards from the Grant family. The five masters from Grant family is hiding and ready to deliver a lethal blow to Josh. The butler rushes in and said "Why are you here?"
Josh sneered "You shouldn't asking some stupid questions. Have you not received my news?"
"So you are the one who killed our people earlier"
"I am, and I'm here to kill Samson as well" He grins
The butler's face darkens. "You should leave now or don't blame us for killing you"
"You already sent some garbage to kill me. I'm here for revenge, so it's okay to kill me if you have the capabilities" a devilish smile appeared on his face. His aura surged and his chilling gaze swept to the crowd.
The butler gritted his teeth.. "Go! don't let him walk out here alive"
The guards started rushing towards Josh but he just calmly stands and look at the guards swarming at him. "These trash, they are all frogs in a well" he sighs.
When he was about to get hit, he suddenly made his move and he launched a counter attack. He punched the first guard and shattered his chest, he vanished swept all of their feet. He continuously kicks them and sends them flying with shattered bones. After five minutes, the hundred guards from the Grant family are all on the ground. Some of them are dead and some of then passed out because of their injuries. The butler was shocked 'What? he take them down with his hands in his pockets? This is impossible!'
He runs inside the villa. "Mr. Grant! I failed! Please get out of here now"
Samson who's dumbfounded and trembling, look at the butler "No, the Grant family is finished."
"We will hold them back, please leave now sir!"
The two big door swung open and Josh who has an innocent face look at Samson. "I told you to prepare a feast for me right?"
"You'll kill me even if I beg for my life right?"
"Yes, That's right" Josh nodded.
"I see" His last hope dissipated but a cruelty flashes in his eyes. "If I can't survive tonight, will you allow me to make a last ditch effort to defeat you?"
"Give your best shot" Josh said indifferently.
Samson stood up and with a saber in his hands. He sent a signal to kill the young man in front of him. "Kill him now!"
Five masters who were hiding attacks Josh with daggers in their hands. Josh disarmed the first master and stole his weapon. He punched the first master and slashed the two upcoming masters to him. The two unharmed masters attacked him from the front and the back. He jumps sideways and slashed the master's hand in front of him. He grabbed his sword, he spins and throws the sword on the other master behind him.
He appeared in front of the butler and stabbed his chest. "W-what?... H-how?" The butler was confused on how Josh appeared in front of him but he can't finishe his words as the light in his eyes disappeared. Josh throws the other sword in his hand towards the master he punched earlier. The sword pierced the masters head and he died on the spot.
Samson reacted quickly and stabbed Josh on his back. However he was dumbstruck as he sword can't penetrate Josh's body. Even the whole Grant family who watched the fight can't believe their eyes.
"Who is this guy?"
"Is he iron man?"
"We're doomed"
"Our family is finished"
Samson smile depressingly.. "We were no match at all" he chuckles. The difference in strength is too large. "Can i beg you to spare my family?"
Samson's son shouted.. "Dad! No! We will die with you." with tears on their eyes. "We will fight to the death"
However, Samson shouted in anger.. "You fools, don't waste you lives! and don't ever dare to get revenge. The bad things that I did in the past have caught up to me." He look at Josh and plead "They have nothing to do with this. I will give you the assets of my family, please spare them."
Josh is not a monster either so he nodded. "Please prepare the contract"
Samson nodded and ordered someone to get the contract. After an hour Samson give the contract to Josh.
"You are the head of an A rank family. To give you respect, you should commit suicide" after he said that he look at the rest of the Grant family "All of you should move out. I don't wanna see your family in this city anymore."
Samson said "All of you pack your things and go"
"At least let us see you and bury you before we go" tears from the eyes of the Grant family members.
Samson smiled bitterly and stabbed his heart. Josh walks towards Samson's corpse and covered it with quilt. He turns around and walk away together with the contracts.
Tonight an A rank family was destroyed...
